"This cottage was perfect for the intended purpose of getting away and still being close to town if we needed to run out and get back quickly. Parking area is small so if you have a large truck it will be a tight fit. "

"We love this cabin and will continue to spend time here when we can! It’s always clean, warm and cozy. "

"This is a private cabin that gives you your own section of Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. Very clean and well set up upon arrival. Nice deck out back facing the stream. Hot tub was at a good temperature for us. We would come back. Good central location to explore Monongahela Park. "

"We absolutely love this cabin. It is very secluded and quiet. We have been staying here for a few years now, and the cabin is very well taken care of and always looks/operates the same as it did the year before. The cabin is cute, cozy and clean inside. However, the outdoor area is the reason we keep returning. We spend most of our time outside when we stay here.We love the hot tub and watching movies on the outdoor tv. Our dogs love it just as much as we do. We cant wait to stay next year! "

"We all enjoyed the peaceful setting. Always have fun at the cabins by the river. Plenty to do and get out for adventures. Host was spot on with everything and very helpful. "

"We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was comfortable for our group of four and two small dogs. We walked to the general store and ordered pizza to take back to the cabin and the cabin was well stocked with what was needed to cook breakfast each day. We did not see a coffee pot but there is a keurig, so bring your coffee pods. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Absolutely perfect!! The identical king bedrooms w/your own bathroom were so awesome. Beautiful and super comfy! The shower was amazing, and the sauna and hot tub topped off the stay! I took my mom and my Granny and all the little extras were such a hit. I can’t wait to bring my husband for another long weekend. "

"When I arrived i heard them tell another guest some maids had not come in. I was told my room was ready and given a key. The room still had its door propped open for cleaning so i asked a maid in the hall if it was ready. She said no, it needs towels. So she ran to get those. "Most comfortable hotel beds in buckhannon. I've stayed here when it was the microtel and now under New Management with Best Western sure stay. Good stuff friendly people. And there's always coffee in the lobby so that's a plus"
