Welcome to the Happy Tabby Cottage!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted.
Dogs (only) are allowed with a pet fee of $150/dog

Minimum Age Requirement of 25 years of Age to Rent the Property
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $30/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

This wonderful 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom tabby style cottage is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood on the south end of St. Simons Island where guests will be close to everything that the island has to offer. Guests will immediately be drawn to the spacious back screened porch featuring a huge vaulted ceiling and fun beach decor that will beg you to sit back and relax under the large outdoor fan. The living room features a large leather sofa with an HD TV where guests will enjoy watching the game or a movie. The perfectly sized kitchen has everything that guests will need to prepare all their meals during their visit. The dining area has seating for six and is located between the kitchen and the living room.

The primary bedroom is a bright and quiet retreat featuring a queen size bed, an HD TV and an en suite bathroom with a shower. The two guest bedrooms feature a queen bed and two twin beds that share a hall bathroom with a tub/shower.

For guests that choose to bring their dog, the backyard is fully fenced and a great space for spending time outside. The gas grill will offer guests the opportunity to cook their fresh catch of the day!

The Happy Tabby Cottage, with its many personal touches of mid-century retro flair, is a special home that guests will be able to enjoy the ability to Live Like a Local on St. Simons Island!

31-60 days from arrival - 50% refund
0-30 days from arrival – 0% refund

Lovely, clean place!
We’ve stayed at several different dog-friendly places on St Simons and this was by far our favorite. Loved the location and proximity to beach, the quiet surroundings, and the fully fenced yard! The tabby cottage is so clean and welcoming. It was the perfect amount of space for our party of two dogs and two adults (we each had our own full bathroom which was awesome). The couch was such a comfy spot to hang out on at the end of the day. The communication with the property managers was prompt and polite. We’d definitely stay here again.

This property was even better than posted. It had so much room and space to hang out. It had everything we needed and then some. It was decorated so stinking cute. The location was also GREAT...in the middle of everything. We rented a golf cart and used it the entire week. The house was very clean and we can't wait to stay here again.

Comfortable and clean place to base ourselves for our island adventures. The winter weather was warm enough for a few days that the sun porch became our favorite cottage spot to relax. My husband and I had a good week at the beach with our daughter, 3 granddaughters and 2 small dogs. The cottage was lovely and clean. Love the back screened in patio and fenced yard. We had a major plumbing issue midweek and had to use another empty rental across the road for baths and laundry, which was fine and no one could have foreseen the problem. When I asked for a discount (twice) I was ignored. They simply didn’t answer me. I thought we should have gotten one since we were had to clean up flooded bathrooms and the master bedroom several times. That being said, it is still a nice home and I am sure the issues have been fixed (I was told it would involve digging up the yard).

Great Rental
This house was perfect for us, the screened in porch was great and I loved have a fence in yard with a swing for our daughter to play on. Great location, it is 5 minutes from the beach and anywhere else we wanted to go. This was our first trip to St. Simon's and we definitely want to go back and would like to stay at the same house.
