"I went with a girlfriend and my Jack Russell Terriers. We loved the Sunrise from the deck every morning. We loved everything about the deck. Pine needles do come down fast all day long but there is a leaf blower to clean them off which was very much appreciated. We spend most of our time between the dock, deck and front porch. We stayed a week and hope to come back again. "

"We had a great day! The kids loved the big house and all the different beds they could choose from. Lots of fires were had, fishing, swimming, baseball in the yard. I grew up on Schoodic Lake so it was great to get back there."

It’s not far from Monson General Store, which was a bonus. "We spent a lovely Saturday - Tuesday up in the area with our friends and this was truly such a gem of a spot. We had the full spectrum of weather, so we were able to take full advantage of both the woodstove (wood provided) on a chilly evening, and use the boat launch and beach access on the sunny days!The beds were incredibly comfy, and my partner-who usually has back issues when traveling- had no issues sleeping and had no pain (a win!)The kitchen was fully stocked with all the...

"My teenage daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. We had a great time looking for moose, going on the Katahdin ferry cruise, hiking the Appalachian trail, and other activities. The cabin was perfect for us. It had enough space for us both to have our own space as well as for eating together. We appreciated the texts from the owners of the cabin when we had questions (nothing major) and loved being in “moose country. "

"Not enough lighting outside. It was extremely dark. You had to get out if your car and basically start to climb the stairs before the sensor lights came on. Lights are needed when you drive up and get out of the car too. I am handicapped and aged. More lighting is needed "

"First, when we visited, there was a new set of stairs down to the water that were excellent. Second, the water pressure in the shower was amazing.The cabin is plain, but very functional. The location is quiet, very quiet. There are cars going by on the road but very few. There are boaters on the lake, but only a couple at a time. One night the loons were out and it was very nice. If you take the stairs down to the bottom and the weather is clear, you can see Katahdin.I would stay there again."
