"By far the best stay at a resort we’ve had. Everything about our experience was phenomenal from our room, to the views, food, amenities, excursions, and customers service. We were blown away by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. They were very accommodating and made our experience even more enjoyable. We didn’t want to leave! "The cabin was everything it said it would be. The host offered wonderful suggestions for attractions in the area and reached out to us during our stay to be certain everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evenings. Perfect scenic getaway "

"My husband and I loved this little cabin overlooking the many meadows out back and with Buffalo Mountain in the distance. The night sky was full of stars without the ambient light of a more densely populated area - so beautiful. The peace and quiet was just what we needed to fully relax. The cabin was wonderful- clean, cozy, comfortable and with a well-appointed kitchen that had everything needed for our Thanksgiving meal. Thankfully, we didn’t need to get in touch with our hostess, Tristi,...

"The cabin was immaculate,we came for some music at the Floyd Country Store, some hiking and to visit some wineries; visited 3 wineries with some nice varietals each a little different, some morning hikes and evening music-weather was great and unseasonable warm for November, will likely visit agin in the dead of winter or early spring."

"As a retired educator I loved the old fashioned schoolhouse charm of this property. The house is cozy and comfortable with ample indoor and outdoor games and options. The mountain setting is peaceful. It is definitely one I hope to book again. "

"Loved everything about this place. Beautiful cabin with a great view. Cabin is new and very clean. Bed is comfortable. No complaints. We stayed 3 nights and visited Mt. Airy and the 2 nearby State Parks. Loved all 3 of them. Eating places are fairly close. Highly recommend. Would love to return. "

" I have stage 3 cancer and this was a perfect getaway for us to put it on the back burner for a few days!"

"Great location, nice and quiet with the absolutely stunning views from the back deck! The house worked very well for the 10 of us adults. The arrival instruction pdf and communications with Mr. Jim were second to none. We truly loved this location, the scenic drive and the ease to Mt. Airy made the 30min drive no issue. This is definitely a place we would use again when we return to visit Mt. Airy / Pilot Mtn. Thanks for sharing the cabin, Mr Jim."

"This was a mini version log cabin of our parents place in Lowgap, NC….warm, easy, welcoming! Easy to Lowgap and a visit to familiar places and faces. The Autum Leaves craft festival in Mount Airy was amazing. Recommend the location and management company."
