"Place was as described to accommodate our large group. It was about 20 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes into Edinburgh. Lots of eating places locally and shops to eat in. Had all the linens and soaps we needed. Could use some towel racks in the bathrooms and mirrors in the bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend place to others looking to explore the area."

"Old Kirkstead is a really nice spot which was enjoyed by kids and parents alike. We'd never been to this part of Scotland before but we'll be back for longer in the summer having only had three nights this time round. "We checked in a little late but this was not a problem as we called ahead. We found Eagle Lodge with ease. The lodge was clean and everything we could need. However, we did have to purchase air freshener as the lodge had a strong musty smell but it soon disappeared once we had been there for a couple of day'. The kitchen is very compact but more than useable. All rooms are a good size. The furniture is a mish mash. And I think some of it could actually belong in a museum but it was all...

"Het huisje is oud en authentiek ingericht. Super netjes schoon en fijn ingedeeld. Aan alle dingen was gedacht. Matten voor de vieze schoenen, schone wasmachine en een zachte vloer. Heerlijke douche!
