"There was everything you could need in the property and it was absolutely spotless. It was close to the river and scenic walks and very peaceful given its proximity to the high street. "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gardner’s House!! Henrietta is a host that goes above and beyond for her guests. This was our first trip to Scotland to visit our son studying nearby, so it was a chilly time! The house was cozy and we loved playing cards by the fire in the parlor room. "The hotel is located next to the shops and restaurants at the service station. Parking is in the regular service station parking Check-in was fast, with very little paperwork to complete. The room was large with tea and coffee facilities and all that we needed in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there was very little traffic noise. If we ever needed to stop overnight on our way north we would definitely consider stopping here."
