"Wonderful property, beautiful lake, nice house but it needs some improvements. It need to be cleaner. I know it is a wilderness camp but it needs a through cleaning. All food items should be removed after each guest departs. Food items attract mice and the house is infested with mice. We caught over a dozen while we were there. No one has cleaned behind the washer dryer in the last year. The throw on the couch was filthy. It needs a thorough cleaning. The stairs to the 2nd floor need to be...

"The camp is exactly what you would expect in northern Maine on the water. The location is very private due to the trees and rocks down by the water. There is a small beach on the property as well. Owner was very responsive and took care of an issue right away. Would certainly stay again."

"We stayed over the July 4th week to be near other family and attend some events. The camp was clean, cozy and had everything you could want/need- kitchen was very well equipped with anything you'd need for meal prep, including basics (salt, sugar, oil, spices,etc...). "This was my wife and I's second year at Travis's camp on Madigan point rd. The cabin was clean and bright the added bonus of the heat pump was very welcome on the hot sticky nights providing us with cool air conditioned comfort. We discovered two fabulous family friendly spots (birch point and Norway point) in and around dark cove that were relatively short kayak paddles from the camp.
