"We thought it was a lot of house for the money. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. House was quirky but we enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Also recommend the cable museum,,and a visit to Brigus. One should also know that Bay Roberts has all the stores etc,,but no downtown section and there is a fairly busy road in front of the house."

"This was an awesome choice for a three night stay in the area surrounding St. Johns. We were welcomed with little considerate touches which included a welcome note and some toiletries, which was not expected. "As a family of 10, this house met all of our needs and then some! From being greeted with a gift basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to having a sparkling clean house with plenty of room and space. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked house - we didn’t need to buy anything except food. Location was perfect allowing us to strike out to various spots in the Avalon region within 1.5 hours drive. The host was very helpful and gracious if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!"

"This home was in an ideal location to venture out to various sites. Everything you need for your stay was there. Although the stairway going upstairs was narrow, we were aware from other reviews about it. I am over 6’ tall so the double beds weren’t ideal but we still slept well.
