Where do I start, called to let Reception know We would be arriving after five for check in to organise late check in. Was transferred to another one of the staff and he answered the phone with "Hey", no professional Hello this is ...
I then went on to explain ŵ we were caught in traffic abd would be arriving after five, mind you this is 3:45pm. The young man says that's okay you have to five and that was the end of the phone call, no options provided to me. I had ring the day proud to confirm a parking space and pay for that for three days.
When we arrived there is nowhere to park so I had to park illegally up the road and ring again to be out through to the after hours reception. She was helpful and during our discussion she requested my card number to put a holding amout on it for any damage to the unit during our stay. I was annoyed at this stage as I had contacted the hotel now than once since making my booking and they could of discussed this the day prior when paying for the parking. Just another additional charge on my card.
Our room was easily located as was our park.
When we entered our room it smelt like sewerage and a window was opened. I went around and noted any damage. The hand basin sink took ages to drain, the cover for the floor waste in the kitchen was missing, hence the smell. Pubic hair on our sheets and done stain that looked like mould. The ceiling in the bathroom had open edges. Cracks in the ceiling, floor not clean. Very poor standard
