"The beds are like sleeping on clouds, but you need a better movie selection. Beautiful spot on the river.Lots of privacy, lots of wildlife in the area.And you don't really need videos to have a good time there. I love everything about the place very beautiful and relaxing weekend differently coming back."

"This is a cozy place, and there's just one sleeping area with several beds. It's comfortable and quiet. Just a microwave for cooking and a very small fridge, so plan accordingly! The location was perfect for us and Lake Superior was warm and calm and beautiful. I loved sitting and watching the freighters. Make sure to get yourself to the Sugar Daddy bakery, recommended by our host and worth the trip!"

"We loved everything about this area. You can be as busy, or simply relax, as much as you want. We road our side by side and took in many of the attractions in the area. The cabin had ALL we could have ever needed, except maybe more fans. We had unseasonably warm temperatures and weren’t quite expecting that. All in all, a WONDERFUL U.P. experience. "

"This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. "Did not use bunk house but cabin was perfect size for 2-4 people. It was clean and comfortable. Great place to launch day trips and an even better place to come back to. Access to beach right out the door and can watch freighters come and go day and night. Hard to beat!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was clean and had most everything in the description. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and we watched a couple of movies in the vcr. We had a fire outside every night and had fun in the kayaks. The only things we found negative were lack of hate for the stairs and no life jackets. Thankfully the lack is shallow for a ways. If you are looking for a five star hotel this is not your place. If you are looking for a quiet place on a lake to enjoy time...

"We are a group of friends that has been vacationing in the UP for a couple of years now, and this is probably our favorite rental so far. We loved the big, open first floor, the very well-stocked kitchen, the comfortable bedrooms, and the hot tub. We didn't even get a chance to use the game room or sauna... Next year, maybe! We also appreciated the proximity to the lovely public beach, and nice views from Iroquois Point lighthouse."
