Located only minutes from downtown Sturbridge and the notorious Brimfield flea market, Abigailā€™s Nest is the perfect home for your vacation and holiday gatherings. One of a kind stunning handcrafted home featuring a modern open design. The warm country atmosphere, glowing ambience and wood-burning fireplace will create memories for a life time. Spectacular farmhouse feel with contemporary arrangement. Large kitchen is the center of the home. Enjoy traditional soapstone island, large custom cooking area with five burner top, butler pantry which stores double convection oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pots and ample workspace. Stay connected and together as you stroll from one space to another. Remember the tradition of gathering around the table at meal time? Well enjoy that once again with our large farmer table. The second floor is connected with a catwalk and loft. There are three bedrooms provided here. The chickadee room provides a queen size bed, 2 single beds, a single pullout, and a full bath. Our mockingbird room has a full bed, and the woodpecker room has a queen and one single bed. Each of these rooms shares a full bath with tub. Located on the first floor is a semi private room. This room doubles as a bedroom and gathering room. It consists of four single beds and a half bath just steps away. Plenty of space for air mattresses for additional guests. Rising to the sound of roosters, morning coffee on the sprawling front farmer porch and the picturesque view of grazing cows will be one of your favorite get away memories. Several large lawn areas for fun and games. The home does sleep up to 20 guests with available beds and air mattresses. The base price is $900 which includes eight guests. Each additional guest is $50 per person per night. There are also for security cameras located on the property. One on each Farmer porch, play house, and pool area for your protection as well as the property.

My friends and I found this listing and were not disappointed! The exterior landscaping, pool area, front porch with beautiful vistas and the designed interiors were magnificent! We were older women, but the space is ample and can accommodate families and children - in fact there are lots of games and activities in and outside the property for all ages. Aside from the amenities, the owner has thought through everything to make your stay enjoyable. There is a pantry with coffee/tea and amenities; each bathroom has shampoo/conditioner and body wash (very nice), towels are also provided as are all the bedding. The village of Sturbridge is 10 minutes away with lots of shops and places to eat. Just an hour away from Boston as well. I highly recommend this space.

We stayed here for a wedding shower that was held at Worthington Winery. Everything was just perfect!! Such abeautiful home and grounds. The 2 children loved the pool. And the adults as well!!! Morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the valley. Does not get any better than that.

This was a beautiful property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was spacious yet cozy, lots of open areas and toys for the kids. The weather was chilly, so the pellet stove warmed things up throughout the whole place, and we enjoyed the fireside out on the front porch. Top notch landscaping, and breathtaking sunrises. Highly recommend and look forward to coming again!

The beautiful pictures still donā€™t tell the full story how amazing the house and property is. Kimberly keeps the house in immaculate condition and had everything teed up for us to have an enjoyable, turn-key stay for folks traveling in from out of town. You literally just needed to show up and everything was taken care of, from linens to ice to the grill, pool accommodations, you name it. My friends and I loved the outdoor seating options and were able to cook breakfast and dinner for all guests with no issues. I had several questions leading up to our stay and Kimberly responded to every note within 5 minutes and was extremely cordial and excited to have us stay with her, including touching base while we were on-site. I canā€™t say enough about the cleanliness and character of this amazing property and would recommend it highly for anyone looking to get away for a quiet retreat in a beautiful, charming setting.

Picked this location because it was on the route from West Point to Gillette stadium. It was an hour closer for our son (and friends) to get here than if we had stayed in Boston and it put him that closer for drive home on Sunday. The house was great and well decorated for Christmas. My wifeā€™s comment was that she felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. The host was very responsive (not that we needed anything). And Army beat Navy! Great weekend.

We loved this home, Abigail's Nest, last September (See Review by Frances L. Sept 21,2022). Revisiting Abigail's Nest this year, we found it the same: a delightful country house with wonderful gardens, spacious rooms, and every comfort we would want. Super clean, super organized, carefully decorated, and fully stocked with linens, cookware, dishes, supplies. A true Country Home? Yep! World Class? Yep! A caring VRBO host? Yep! Would I back Kimberly in a match-up against Martha Stewart? Yep . So go and enjoy!!!!!

This property was the perfect 'nest' for three generations of our family to assemble. We were charmed by the home, the amenities and the atmosphere that allowed our family to be together. Memories for all generations will last forever! The outdoor areas to gather such as the sunrise on the front porch for yoga and early coffee talks, as well as the great fun in the pool area were perfect. The inside areas with the cozy couch and large table were enough to host meals for our group of 11 and many evening games.

Wow! We came to Brimfield for the antique fair and this home away from home was just the rest and relaxation we needed. The property is meticulously cared for and the home is just that, a home. If there was one thing that may have been missing I would only say a TV in the master bedroom. We would absolutely stay again. Kimberly is an amazing hostess.

This property is impressive in every way. So much so that we have already booked it for a stay in 2023. A wonderful modern farmhouse surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, ringed with trees and overlooking pastures, it evoked the feel of a large farm. Inside, we found spacious rooms, with charming, very comfortable furnishings, lots of windows, and every appliance and houseware item we needed. The right glass or dish, an abundance of cookware, stacks of towels, were at hand. And the essentials: clean everything, comfortable beds and bedding, plentiful hot water, easily accessible parking for our three cars, and working Wi-Fi. Kimberly is a warm and gracious host, who responded immediately to a couple of text questions about logistics. Youā€™ll love her. Youā€™ll love Abigailā€™s Nest.

Super clean house. Incredibly friendly hostess. Beautiful pool. Beyond perfect landscaping. Everything we needed. The house is so open and welcoming, there are so many places to sit together and enjoy each other's company or take some quiet time alone. We really appreciated the helpful hints around the house and felt so taken care of by our lovely hostess. Definitely want to stay here again! Other things we loved: there's a bike trail just a mile down the (very quiet/safe) road, so we biked there every day. We enjoyed hearing the cows and chickens from a nearby farm. We really appreciated the s'mores supplies and bonfire options. It was truly the most relaxed family vacation we've had! Thank you!

Such a lovely stay at Abigail's Nest! I booked this rental for my younger sister's bachelorette weekend, she wanted a quiet slumber party with all her girlfriends and this was the PERFECT backdrop for it. The house was adorable, and more open/spacious than the pictures convey- pleasantly surprised! We booked it because we wanted one big space we could all fit in at the same time (there were 13 of us), and we all fit comfortably in the living room, and also around the huge dining room table. The house was spotless when we arrived, there was a little binder and a personalized message for us which was so sweet. The decor was very cute and filled with personal touches, photographs, and glimpses into the family's life- you can tell they truly treasure this home and one another. The bedrooms were large and extremely comfortable (and able to fit an extra air mattress if needed!), and the kitchen was the perfect size to lay out all our snacks and still be close to the living room and dining table. We had an awesome night eating snacks, playing games, and I would absolutely book again (maybe in the summer next time so we can enjoy the outside of the house!) Overall, 10/10 would recommend. We traveled from the West Coast for a family wedding and wanted to stay as a family in a house instead of a hotel. This property allowed us to share time with family in an amazing setting. The fall colors outdoors along with the beautifully decorated home, made for a memorable trip. When in the area, we would 100% stay at this property again.

The moment you enter this home you are taken by its warmth and welcoming feel. My family of 23 spent the afternoon and evening celebrating Christmas, cooking, eating, drinking and making wonderful memories. The kitchen opened into the living areas where we comfortably opened gifts and prepared our meal. Decked out in its holiday best including a Christmas tree, the surroundings brought additional warmth to our festivities. We brought wood and made a fire, long before going to sleep in the beautiful bedrooms, two of which are king masters. There were 8 of us in beds and 6 of us on air mattresses that we provided. After a lovely breakfast we packed up and off we went. All of us felt very blessed to have been able to spend our Christmas together in this wonderful home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Kimberly for allowing our large group to enjoy your home.
