"In general we enjoyed our stay but there were a few issues that keep it from getting five stars: 1) Lighting needs improvement. It's quite dim, especially in the living area, bathroom, and kitchen. There are under-cabinet lights in the kitchen but they seem to have a mind of their own and we couldn't find a way to have them stay on. "Our visit was to attend the Cooperstown baseball event to see our grandson participate. And that was about a 20 minute drive from this VRBO. However, the area was so beautiful, we enjoyed every minute of the drive. The VRBO was very well appointed, spacious, and very comfortable. Oslo and Cindy Lou were super friendly and were instrumental in making our stay there in Otsego more than just a baseball event but a very interesting and pleasant vacation location. "My son was playing in the 12U Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament and I needed a place for me and my parents to stay that would let us get to him quickly and yet have a spot that was more than just a hotel room. "The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and oh so comfortable! It is very spacious and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. "We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!"
