"Loved our stay in this beautiful home. Was pleasantly surprised. Host Mike was awesome. Very attentive and responded quickly to our emails. This property was well equipped. We needed nothing. Location on phillips lake was a plus. It is only a 45 minute ride to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park.. we are hoping to come back in the summer"

"Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌 "

"Nicely appointed cabin in a fantastic setting. Situated right on the lake with great views of the water and the sunrise. The hosts are close by in the event they are needed and will come by and welcome guests personally. The cabin is clean, up-to-date and stocked with everything guests need. The 'extras' such as canoes, kayaks, yard games, fire pit, board games, streaming TV channels and the full deck with the Weber grill make it so guests never have to leave. "My grandson was so excited to see the bobcat in the yard. We’re no strangers to wild animals what a great home you have. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We would like to come back "

"The property was easy to find. Close to shopping but also quiet and peaceful. The apartment was very cozy and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The view is absolutely amazing and wildlife is always in eye shot. I dislike giving it 5 stars simply because I'd like to keep it available for myself. LOL I am looking forward to sraying here again"

"In Maine visiting UMaine Orono. Property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. House had plenty of room, 2nd floor bed was comfortable. Close to campus, restaurants, and the view of the lake was lovely. Some aesthetic aspects of the home appeared unfinished/in progress, but this did not negatively affect our stay. Thank you!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Overlook. The view was fantastic, use of kayaks & fire pit was great & we totally relaxed with our pup. The only thing we could have used was info on where the transfer station was, how to get the bedroom TV to work (we figured it out, though) & a starter roll of paper towels. Aside from these minute issues, this is a wonderful cabin to escape to! I’d definitely stay here again! "

"Everything about this property is above and beyond expectations. Location is just 5 mins from the Bangor Rd. There are 2 houses to rent if you like. We rented the larger house with all of the comforts of home. Very spacious outside space & parking, three bedrooms with plenty of bedding, lots of comfortable seating, incredibly equipped kitchen, great deck and water front, kayaks ++, loons too. Close to Bangor & Bar Harbor for day trips. Scott was great to communicate with. Very special "

"Beautiful cabin and location! The fall colors around the lake made it the perfect fall spot. Less than an hour drive to Acadia and short trip to Bangor for restaurants, but still has that secluded cabin feeling. At the cabin we took advantage of the kayaks, fishing poles, hammock, firepit, and appreciated the welcome goodies. The lake is amazing with crystal clear water. We also hiked up Mt. "Hidden down a winding road is a cute cottage with a beautiful pond ! We had a bonfire with the full moon above . Used the slow cooker and our meals were ready after our adventures! Perfect for the 3 of us!"

"Overall, it's a good hotel. Considering the rating, I expected a little bit more. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. Could be renovated. The breakfast was very good, and the location was great. We stayed there to visit Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park."
