Being refurbished
"The hotel's refurbishment in public areas limits its current standard, and potential to be relaxing. Rooms need the refurb, however, and will hopefully get it soon. The restaurant is good, and staff are generally friendly and helpful, but cleaning is below par, notably lack of deep cleaning."

"The first room we were given was disappointing as it was next to noisy pub garden and was smaller and more cramped than advertised, thankfully the receptionist was great and moved us to a different room which was lovely and we had a great stay.
