"I had an excellent visit. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. Everything was super clean; magazines and books were available (as well as good WiFi). House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. "Had an amazing stay at this charmer on the coast! Very clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Spent many hours just watching the ducks and birds enjoying the treats that come and go as the tides change. Great jumping off point to enjoy the beautiful coast of Maine! The only drawback is that the road is incredibly close to the house and the traffic noise is impossible to drown out, especially when trying to sleep in the second bedroom. Not ideal, but we would definitely return! "

"This house was amazing. It was way better than we expected after looking through the pictures online. The outdoor space and the house itself are beautiful and the pictures do it zero justice. We were worried at first about the lack of AC, but the house cooled right down once we opened the windows let the air in. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to visit Boothbay. It was so close to the main area, but you couldn’t even tell- it felt like you were immersed in nature."

"A beautiful location, just a short distance from so many things. Our plan was to rest and relax, we couldn't have asked for a better place to do that. "Everything was as expected or better. Great directions made it easy to find. Place was well stocked, super clean, very comfortable. Neighborhood is great. And when I needed something, the property manager jumped to help at record speed. Will definitely go back. :-)"

"Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. "

"I was traveling with my 4 sisters. We enjoyed our stay very much. Hosts were very helpful with technical things and recommendations for places to eat and things to do. "They thought of everything, including binoculars. We watched seabirds and lobstermen working and didn't leave the house until late in the day for the Botanical Gardens. They only communicate through Vacasa,email, and text. Good communication, though. Final payment is through Vacasa. "

"Roxie was a cozy tiny cabin! It was absolutely perfect for the one night passing through with the dog. My only regret was not having more time to make it a longer stay. The cabin has everything you need for a stay! The wood stove did a great job heating it, and it stayed pretty warm all night. GPS took me right there, no issue finding the road. And while no WiFi, cell service was fine and could stream playoff baseball before bed. Would 10/10 stay again and for longer if back in the area! "

"For a small cottage it was spacious, had modern amenities. The listing says harbor view but you have to look thru power lines, power poles and a lobster processing plant. The side stone steps are overgrown with vegetation making it hard to maneuver. All in all a good experience."
