A spacious room with gorgeous views, a separate entrance, an indoor fireplace, and freshly brewed coffee every morning from Onyx Coffee Roasters. Full size bed with flannel sheets in winter, Brooklinen brand sheets in warmer weather. My partner and I moved to Vermont a few years ago, we can’t get enough of the breathtaking views and can't wait to share them with you. If you need a retreat or a place to sleep while visiting family and doing all things Vermont, you have found the right spot!
The space
We live on 5 acres in West Brattleboro on a quiet street. We have 37 apple trees, three peach trees, and three pear trees in the orchard that your room looks out over. The room is on the first floor and has a sliding door out to the patio. The half bath is private to you and located right off the room. You also have access to the kitchen and we have a portable mini fridge, tea kettle with herbal and black tea selections for you in your room. If you want a desk in your room we can easily set one up. Our goal is to make your stay feel like home and give you an opportunity to enjoy and soak in our gorgeous views.

We can stay out of your way or invite you to have coffee with us, whatever you are looking for we can accommodate. I have been hosting on this platform for ten years but this is my first listing in Vermont. We bought this house over a year ago and are ready to welcome fellow travelers to Vermont.
Other things to note
We have three friendly, cuddly, hypoallergenic dogs. One golden doodle and two Coton Du Tulears. Their names are Frank, Wilson and Tahoe. You don’t have to interact with them but if you are a puppy lover they will love treats and saying hello to you. If you do not like dogs I do not recommend booking our house because we are big dog lovers and our furry friends are well trained but always around, however they won’t enter your room if they aren’t welcome.

Also please note that there is no smoking or partying at our house we are fun and friendly but that is one of our rules.

Cleaning Process:
I follow five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.

Here are a few highlights:

I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
I refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room
I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines.
