This beautiful traditional Charentais farmhouse was build around the mid 1800’s and was originally used as a farm for chickens and turkeys, in the early 1990’s it was then sold to an English gentleman who renovated the farm to become his home, he built an extension that has now become the holiday home /gite.
There are only 4 properties in the hamlet, that is well away from the main road and surrounded by the beautiful French countryside.
The grounds surround the whole house and is divided off for privacy for guests, although the hosts This beautiful traditional live on the property they cannot be seen and the gite garden is completely enclosed and very large.
There is also a fenced off pond for safety with seating area to view, and waterfall. The pond has koi Karp and goldfish these fish are our pets .
Security Deposit: A €300 security deposit is required on arrival in cash.
The deposit will be returned on the day of departure after a property inspection has been carried out providing there has been no breakages.
