"We had an issue with the shower which did not work and when we contacted reception in the evening there was no one and our phone didn’t work so we tried to contact the hotel on our mobiles but no one picked up. The reception staff in the morning were very helpful and got the maintenance team to fix the shower whilst we had breakfast. We were given a complimentary afternoon tea for the inconvenience. The receptionist (blonde lady) was amazing and really helpful. Overall we had a lovely stay, and...

"Staff lovely, food great dinner and breakfast, well decorated and comfortable, very dog friendly. Only negative comment was tv bracket placement in room-hardly faced bed😂but we managed!! Room 217. View from room was good across rooftops and fields"

"It was lovely. we stayed in the Braid Lodge. It was clean, well decorated and warm. The only criticism would be the state of the TV remote control which was filthy."

"We arrived early but checking in was no problem. Very nice people. Food was nice too. Unfortunately we weren't too hungry so didn't get to sample the wonderful breakfast we read about. But the poached eggs were perfect. We stayed in a cabin which had everything you need for a short stay. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would say is the basin in the shower room was so small and awkward to use when brushing your teeth. A small niggle. Shower was fine, and very large. "

"Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay."

"O hotel é muito bacana. Mas o atendimento é, como direi?, meio "instável". Funcionários muito simpáticos, mas de repente somem e você não consegue encontrar ninguém. O café da manhã (excelente, por sinal) deveria começar a ser servido às 8h, no entanto só apareceu alguém às 8.40h... Mas, no geral, é uma hospedagem muito simpática."
