"We enjoyed our visit. The only reason that we gave a four star instead of a five star is that we had to move curtains around to have some darkness in the bedroom. There was a light that would go on and off, which was worse than constantly too much light. We took the drapes from the third bedroom and used them to try to block some light, and we put them back before we left. We also attempted to close the curtains behind the bed which had a big gap. "Stayed in the winter, place got a bit cold (it does not have central heat). Wasn’t a lighter or enough firewood for our stay but the host brought a lighter and more wood. Beautiful pond in the back and the location is good, with easy access to the highway. Neighbors were close by, we were asked to turn off the outdoor light because it was shining into their house. Cottage was clean. There are security cameras outside. Overall it is a cozy place to stay in a good area. "

"Fairly new house on the pond. Little sand beach. Canoe, paddle board and kayaks (need new/more paddles). Spacious. Large, well appointed and supplied modern kitchen. Nice master suite. Only one bathroom on ground floor for 3 bedrooms. Plenty of bench seating on deck facing lake, but could use use some chairs with cushions. "

"This home is absolutely stunning! My partner and I stayed here for a couple of days with my cousin and her husband before friends arrived for my bachelorette yoga and hiking retreat. "Our visit was short but absolutely wonderful. Our host had thought of everything - coffee, tea, pancake mix, eggs, and a ton of other goodies that made us feel absolutely spoiled. We spent every moment possible enjoying the porch and overlooking the river. Bedding, furniture, and amenities were all incredible.
