Take a step back in time! The adorable Dancing Bear Cabin is an authentic 100 year-old storybook log cabin located on the breathtaking Tunnel of Trees, ranked among the most scenic roads in America. Less than two miles from the charming shops, restaurants and marina of downtown Harbor Springs. Close to everything yet youā€™ll feel a world away. Plus, you'll have a pretty bluff view of Lake Michigan!

Dancing Bear Cabin has been updated with all the modern conveniences of home, including central heat and A/C, wood burning fireplace, internet, wifi, cable, washer and dryer, clawfoot tub with shower, plus a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor firepit with four Adirondack chairs, and a charcoal BBQ. One queen bedroom and one full bedroom will accommodate four guests quite comfortably. Relax!

Great cabin.

This is a great little cabin. Everything was as stated in the listing. Everything worked great the hostess kind enough to leave us some firewood inside! I will say the only thing is that it is not close to the lake as one of the photos showed. Bit other than that it was an absolute gem of a property!

Great Cabin just outside of town

Great cabin - great location just outside of town - close enough to enjoy but far enough away to relax by the camp fire at night.. Love the location on the tunnel of trees. Just what we were looking for to get away with the family. The fireworks over the harbor on the 4th were wonderful

This wonderful historic cabin has been updated with attention to detail. The washer and dryer might be small but work great. Very clean. Minutes from Harbor Springs restaurants and shops.

Exactly as advertised, evevything you need. Cabin was very clean, quiet. Beds OK, not great. Definitely would consider another stay. What we were looking for in a long weekend.

We just got home from a four day. Stay at this cute little cabin. It was so clean and the view is just amazing. Youā€™re not on the water, but you can see it right out the front window. Thereā€™s plenty of places to drive for a scenic routes. The downtown area is cute for shopping and small eating restaurants. Everything you need for the kitchen is there. The front bedroom facing the street has the best bed. You donā€™t hear a lot of traffic at night very quiet. Highly recommend.

A Little Bit of Heaven!

Went up to Harbor Springs to be with my Godchild and family. We loved the fire pit. Made popcorn and semores. Played games in front of the beautiful firer place. The view was outstanding. Loved it!

Perfect location, Beautiful Setting

Excellent stay. The cabin is close to town and our family who live off East Lake St. Very convenient location and beautiful in the wintertime. Very cozy cabin. Highly recommend if you want to stay close to town.

Perfect Winter Get-A-Way

Spent Valentines weekend at the cabin. Perfect weekend retreat. Cabin was a fantastic place to stay. The scenery was beautiful. Close enough to town to enjoy the sites but far enough away to feel the secluded northern vibe. Plan to be back!

February stay

First of all I am a licensed builder and very familiar with fireplaces and I would not recommend using the fireplace. Make it a gas fireplace and be done with it. Smokes very bad even with warming the chimney first!!!! Had to open all of the windows to get rid of the smoke.. Not a good start to our stay!! The bathroom is terrible!! Only one thin board separating the bathroom from the rest of the cabin. Sound will carry throughout the cabin and the shower is terrible!! We had to shovel a path through the snow to the front door. The drive way was only partially plowed. I had to hand shovel the rest. Other than that everything else was good. The stove is missing a knob and some of the lamp shades need to be replaced. Curtains are also frayed and need to be replaced. I would not stay here again!!!

Another wonderful stay

This was our second stay at the cabin. We were once again blessed with beautiful snowy weather. Awesome location with nearby trails and close to town. Just another great stay with friends at the cabin. Looking forward to our next visit.
