This charming 1 bedroom condo was the primary residence of Ben Andrews in the 1700’s who manned the first navy ship, the Hannah. There are now 6 condos in this brick home located in the heart of Old Town, Marblehead. It has wide plank pine floors, stainless steel appliance galley kitchen, exposed brick, tile bath and the most charming of all are the fireplaces in the bedroom and living room. This unit is on the 3rd floor.

Beautifully furnished - like new! Brand new central air conditioning. Gas stove. Call for last minute rentals or shorter stays. Google to find out more about the town.

Prefer monthly rental, weekly is availablle.

This property is very unique! It’s quite historic of a building. But the unit is on the top floor, and the top staircase after the second landing is very steep (I wouldn’t recommend many ppl 45 doing these stairs, or if you have really heavy suitcases with no one to help haul them up). I don’t recall the steep staircase being in the description. Also, the bed has one of the hardest, firmest mattress I’ve ever slept on. This unit only sleeps two. I wouldn’t count an air mattress as sleeping more individuals. It was clean, given how historic and aged the entire building is, with the exception of a comforter that needs to be replaced (mystery stains from previous Vrbo renters?). Marblehead is a very cool, walkable town full of beautiful historic buildings. Loved the two fireplaces in the unit. I loved the views and being close to the grocery store was nice. We took Lyfts to Salem and Boston from this Vrbo and the drive was beautiful.

First of all we adore Marblehead. Its the sweetest town. We were happy to find this rental which was just as aweet as the town! Super clean, sweetly decorated and still had thay old building feel like the historical town itself.

It was a cute lil studio like apt. Definitely better for 3 people but thats all we had in our party so it worked out ok. The pricing on vrbo was alot lower than what she wanted so i paid alot more then 1st anticipated. I would recommend contacting her about pricing before booking but overall a cute place and a fun vacation.

Marblehead Condo
Great property and described perfectly in the post. The stairs are memorable and steep! Easy walk to multiple eateries, grocery store and waterfront. Tracy was great host. The reserved parking spot was a game changer. Highly recommend the Muffin Shop. Three Cod Tavern gave local flair and excellent food. Ask for Beth or Lynn…both great waitresses and had good recommendations.

Cozy, clean downtown Marblehead walk-up
Great one-bedroom condo in historic downtown Marblehead. Great spot for walking, sightseeing, shopping, dining out, and relaxing. We were attending an event in town and this was a perfect place to stay.

Close to everything
We enjoyed our stay in Marblehead. The unit was on the third floor so we had no problem getting our fitbit steps in! There are great stores and restaurants within walking distance. The historic downtown area shops, fort, and waterfront are also close by. We loved all the walking that we could do. The unit really is best for one couple or small family as you have to walk through the one bedroom to get to the bathroom. Just an FYI. We felt completely comfortable making this our home away from home!

Charming stay
Had a wonderful stay in Marblehead. The property was a perfect size and couldn’t have been anymore New England like. The location is great to local restaurants, not far from shopping and window browsing, along with being centrally located within the charming town of Marblehead. The proprietor , Tracy, was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Plans to are definitely in the works.

Sweet, cozy apartment.
Warm, pretty, inviting, clean apartment that is walking distance to parks, restaurants, and shops. Excellent linens and kitchen supplies. Stairs were a good exercise up the last, steep flight. I loved it. (Wish VRBO did not require a download of their app to cell phone to get arrival info. Arrival info would not come to iPad or PC)

Low point of our vacation
Where do i begin. This is discribed as a 1 bedroom that sleeps four. It sleeps 4 if you consider a cheap air mattress as extra sleeping space. When we walked in our immediate thought was the apt is cute. However if youre looking for a place to come back to at the end of the day to relax this is NOT the place for you. There is not comforrtable spot in the place to sit. It says it sleeps 4 but there are only 3 seats for the dining table. Silverwear for only 2 people. Its the lack of simple basic comforts and necessities.that really caused us to give such a liw score. She was slow to respond. When she did she didnt fully answer questions. I ask if there were mutiple units on the third floor and if so which one were we in. She failed to tell me. On our arrival we discovered there are 2 units on the floor and we didnt know which one we were suppossed to be in. We were ultimately given 3 yes three different codes to get in to the unit. So not only did we not know which unit was ours we didnt know whatcode to use. She failed to give us information. Youre expected to take out the trash but theres not a trash bag in the place. No laundry basket to leave dirty linens and towels. A soap dispenser in the bathroom but no soap to be found. No clocks in the place. A lack of comfort and many necessities are just a few of the little things that were missing. Weve stayed at quite a few different VRBO vacation homes and always had a wonderful experience. This time . . . We felt like we were an after thought and she didnt care if we were there or not. We were so very disappointed with this stay. Its a beautiful little town. The people are warm and friendly. By all means stay in Marblehead. Just dont stay here.
