Our 18th century home is comfortable and spacious. It is an old farmhouse in an historic part of New England - great for families or couples. After taking a swim at the beach, enjoy dinner on the back porch, while looking over the peaceful yard of green trees. And feel free to pick fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden! Or on colder evenings, take a soak in the hot tub and look at the stars.
Our home is located in the small town of Prides Crossing, which is on the north shore of Massachusetts. It is an easy drive or a convenient ride by train to downtown Boston, approximately 35 minutes away.
There are also plenty of sights to see on the north shore! The city of Salem (10 min.) has a rich history, with museums, restaurants, theatre, and music. Gloucester (15 min.) is a wonderful place to board a daily cruise for whale watching! In Rockport (20 min.) you'll find many artisan shops to explore at Bearskin Neck. If you're hungry for seafood, this area of the country offers some of the best lobster, clams, and halibut, but there are restaurants for every taste (Indian, Mexican, Thai, Greek, etc.).
If you enjoy walking through the woods and on the sea shore, we have many conservation areas, beaches and parks to visit. If you want to take the train to Boston, it is only a 10 minute walk to the station from our house. Our 2 bicycles are available for you to explore the quaint town we live in. We have 3 bedrooms with queen beds, and one bedroom with a twin bed (and extra trundle bed).
