"We are a group of five friends who planned this trip almost two years ago. We had to pick off season due to our schedules. The weather/wind in Iceland was the worst it has been in 10 years, and we briefly lost power. Our host brought us a generator, coffee, pastries, and kept us updated every step. They checked in on us often and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. They have a very detailed book on property with instructions for everything. "We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "

"Beautiful homes; we would definitely return! 10 of us enjoyed our stay at these two lovely homes. Both houses were clean, spacious, and well stocked. The windows in the main house were especially wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes for our large group to have home cooked meals at the large table. We had trouble getting the lock box open (likely frozen shut) and the key to the second cottage was tricky / sticky and needed some extra finesse to get in/out....

"We had a wonderful stay here. We enjoyed the full kitchen and the hot tub. Our only complaint was the directions were not clear and we ended up at the neighbour's house. We found the rental afterwards, but had no code for the property in advance. The directions said to go to the main house for the code. We had no idea where the main house was, we couldn't see any other homes. One of us ran to 3 people on horseback riding by, who conveniently had the code. We would just suggest sending the code...
