"This is a lovely cottage in a stunning location. The photos don't do full justice to how nice this place is. Small and still perrect for our little family. Very well equipped. Gorgeous gardens, bbq, outside seating is a plus. Lovrly nature right on your doorstep. Hosts were fab. Recommended!"

"We had an enjoyable stay in a clean cosy place but the tiny touches were missing that we have become accustomed to using other holiday booking platforms (such as toilet roll and soap). The booking process through vrbo however was not smooth and the photographs of the accommodation were very misleading, so it's unlikely I'll use vrbo again. I spent over 2 hours finding out who to pay (not vrbo it turns out!), struggled to simply confirm the stay and find out how to access the info to get into...

"Nice clean and comfortable cottage. Loved the enclosed gardens for our dog who can be reactive. We have small garden without grass so he loved the front garden and didn't want to leave. The weather helped us have a lovely long weekend and Thornhill has a good wee co-op, spar, cafe and restaurants. Restaurants were lunch and dinner though, not all day. "A very nicely refurbished cottage with all necessary equipment and appliances. 50 metres walk to the mostly deserted beach. Not much to do in Powfoot itself, so driving is essential. Caravan park cafe very good and Powfoot hotel good if you don't have a dog."

"we had a lovely stay at templand cottages. The little cottage had everything as described. The most helpful and kind landlords. Absolutely relaxing private hot tub. Definitely quiet, no traffic, partying or other noise will disturb you there. "We enjoyed our stay at The Gables Hotel. We were on route to Skye just a one night stay over with evening meal and breakfast. Both meals were very good. As was the atmosphere. Comfortable beds. Great pillows. Clean and tidy. Staff were all really friendly which were house keeping, reception bar & restaurant. Made us feel very well come. "
