"My family was in desperate need of a Thanksgiving away. We had high hopes when booking this secluded cabin and those hopes were met and exceeded. We so greatly enjoyed all we could of the outdoor spaces, even with a cold front blowing through. And the interior was very comfortable and more spacious than we expected. This property is out in the country and the many bugs anxious to escape the cold air into the house reminded us of that. Some elements of the cabin are dated, some light switches...

"I stayed here while doing some antiquing nearby. It was nicely suited to my needs, which was basically just a place to crash at night and have coffee in the morning! The river nearby is really lovely and the sound of the waterfall is so nice. You will also hear some road noise, just FYI. It's a cozy space but fairly utilitarian. The bed is super comfy but if you like a full pillow, pack your own. Would likely stay again -- it's a solid value. "

"My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary of when we meet with this rental of a cabin in the woods! It was very cozy and we enjoyed it so much. The beds were great. The porch was nice. The couch was terrible. I would suggest investing in a comfortable couch for guests who like to chill and watch tv! But we made it work and were glad to have this place to stay for the weekend. The owners communicated with us very well. "

"The cabin was perfect for my family of four during our time visiting family for Christmas. It is exactly as advertised-clean and peaceful. It was even decorated for Christmas when we got there which was an unexpected bonus. We were greeted multiple mornings by the deer right off the porch and every day around sunset the birds would flock back to the trees. At night you can hear the river going by and the sky is as clear as I remember seeing it in years. The owners were very accommodating...

"We were looking for a venue to host our friends and family that came into town for my daughter’s wedding. This was the perfect location. It was 12 minutes from Wolf gap which is where the wedding ceremony and reception took place. really enjoyed this cabin. It would be a great place. If you want to just get away from this city, beautiful property makes it feel like you’re the only ones around and the wildlife and the sounds are outstanding. "

"Staff was great, and very friendly. Nice property, liked the room and large shower. Disliked the comfort of the pillows as we had a difficult time getting comfortable, and the hot breakfast left much to be desired. Eggs were always rubbery or something; they just weren’t right. Hotel is near a busy highway that is very loud. All things considered we would stay here again."
