"My Bestie and I stayed here for her birthday and absolutely Loved it!! The decor, the history, the layout, the location- perfection! Definitely will try to stay here again down the road :) "

"My boyfriend and I enjoyed this property a lot. It was clean and had great amenities. I wasn’t used to the ease at which the bugs got in (this is not the owners fault, just part of being in the woods) and the stone steps from the driveway to the actual steps are not optimal, in my opinion. If someone needs a walker or has a wheelchair I do not think I would select this property for that reason alone. The steps upstairs to the loft also made us nervous (boyfriend is a bodybuilder, getting 250...

"We were able to lounge on the boat and the dock. We got in the water with the pups and also hung out on the deck area while having our Bolivar Bakery breakfast and coffee. "

"We had a great time in West Virginia and the Chalet. The properry was well maintained and the host was very proactive with checking in to see if we arrived and got inside without incident, and to see if we needed anythjng. "

"Great place to stay! Peaceful area & very clean. The house was completely redone. I would highly recommend others to stay here! "

"This place is peaceful and secluded the bed was comfortable and the air conditioner kept it comfortable you have everything you need to heat up food or keep it cold the view of the river is great and we enjoyed setting on the porch and watching the river and deers that walk right through the yard! The only things I may would change is the chairs on the porch. There is a fire pit also across the road but unfortunately we didn’t get to use it because of rain. "

"This is an amazing property, just as listed. Clean, spacious, gracious hosts that leave snacks and fresh baked cookies. Thoughtful baskets of necessities just in case you forgot something. Fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs. Games and books galore! We had a group of 9 teachers on summer break that needed a place to relax and have fun together! "Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances.
