"The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. "This a classic stone home that has been well maintained and updated whilst honoring its heritage. It was conveniently located a minute from downtown and the perfect location as a home base to hop around Mena. The host was easy to get in contact with as well and had a small assortment of snacks in the kitchen (I love those little touches of care!). Being that this is an older home with what I believe to be was original wood flooring and older-single pane windows, it’s not the most sound-proof...

"The pictures do not do this place justice. It was beautiful and very spacious! More than enough room for the family to spread out and enjoy themselves. We had fun making s’mores in the fire pit and grilling outside. The views are beautiful from all around the house, but we came to see the total eclipse. We were not disappointed. The eclipse was spectacular! The house was clean and well stocked. We were greeted by the host, Robert, at check-in and he showed us around and answered any questions...
