Space and Light
The house was spacious for the 4 of us and the big windows let in lots of light so it is a very relaxing place to be. The view of the ocean is amazing from the house. We enjoyed being able to walk to Portuguese Beach and stroll through the quiet neighborhood, play pool, etc. Overall a very comfortable place to stay. The host was great with communication and was very helpful when I had a question about the locking system. The one improvement I would recommend is that the house could use a decent set of pots and pans and a good knife set and cutting board. Side note: the VRBO site says that it is sleeps 8 people but the beds and the guest book on site states max 6 people and the number of beds is appropriate for 6 people.

Location was great! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay from the gorgeous views to the cozy bedrooms and fireplace to the super easy access to Portuguese Beach. The house was very tastefully done.

Birthday Celebration
We planned our trip to Bodega Bay to celebrate our daughter's birthday, and graduation from college. Everyone loved the home, the location was perfect, the views were amazing, and we really enjoyed the pool table! We loved how close to the beach it was. We spent the day on the beach and it was perfect. If we come back to Bodega Bay in the future, we will definitely love to stay here again!

Bodega Beach House Serenity
We stay at one or two VRBO`s yearly. This property was one of the top vacation rentals we`ve experienced. Many Pro`s including maintenance staff and logistics team response time. The first night we had a shower head break. The staff immediately dispatched the maintenance staff to respond. Who arrived well ahead of the estimated time. He was very courteous and professional. Returning ASAP with the repair part and expertly installing the new fixture. Couple of items for mention. Remote in theatre room did not seem to function. Not a deal...we had a remote app on my iPhone. There is a lose wood tile that needs glued down directly under dining room table seat. The house was very clean with the exception of main floor could have used mopping. I`m nit picking a little there because my 1 and 4 year old granddaughters feet were very dirty after playing in that area the first couple hours after arrival. Bottom line. Our stay was fantastic and we would most definitely recommend to others, and be returning here for future stays in Bodega Bay.

Beautiful ocean view. Quiet neighborhood. We saw quite a few wild animals that my daughter loved so much. Easy walk to beach. First time we did not have to make any efforts to see sunset. Close to other landmarks. We really enjoyed staying in the property. Thanks a lot.

Getaway
Great stay at Bodega Bay Beach home. The property is very close to the water, the view is amazing, you can even hear the waves and there is a house fairly close that blocked the wind. We loved the extra room with the pool table, allowed us to spread out and enjoy. The house had everything we needed, only 2 complaints were the showers, which worked, but with very light pressure and the TV in the main room wouldn't work, but otherwise wonderful stay. Would also recommend that you provide coffee and filters that fit the coffee maker. Ty for the late checkout!

Another Fabulous Stay at Bodega Bay
Loved the place before, loved it even more now. Superb upgrade in adding what used to be the garage game room into the house proper with a new TV, awesome lounges and all. Missed the ping pong table a little bit, but the "trade" for an all enclosed game and additional TV room was well worth it! Thanks again and looking forward to our next stay!

Most relaxing vacation ever
This is the BEST place to stay, it has become our favorite place to go! Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves on Portuguese Beach is the best! The house is super cozy, and we love the deer that visit throughout the day.

Look no further if you want THE BEST BEACH HOUSE in Bodega Bay!! We had a BLAST! Great location, FANTASTIC VIEWS and everything you need to have an amazing adventure. Seeing a family of deer every day was a real bonus. We WILL be back!!

The house was very nice and clean and there was enough space for everybody. However some simple things like coffee powder, hangers, and a hair dryer would have made the stay more comfortable.

Magical
We celebrated our 25th anniversary at the beach house with delicious tarts from Nom Nom Cakes up the street. Everyone felt comfortable at the house, including our 15 year old dog. We spent most of our time relaxing at the house where the views are spectacular. We spotted whales while relaxing on the backyard deck and we saw the local deer everyday, we enjoyed hanging out with a Great Blue Heron hunting in the backyard, and we even spotted an Osprey carrying a freshly caught fish to its nest. We also enjoyed walking on Portuguese Beach and watching the sunset from the cliff at the end of the street. We even enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and meeting some of the nice neighbors and their dogs.

We Feel Cheated
The location of the house is great and there is a wonderful view. The house itself is nice with a great viewing area to watch the ocean. The kitchen is very small but adequate. The electric fireplaces in two of the bedrooms continually hum but earplugs helped. So why the one star? My husband is an invalid and my daughter, so-in-law and I arrived looking for a relaxing time together. Check in is at 4PM and we were happy to look out and see a field of wildflowers and grasses outside the house. We decided, since checkout is early at 10AM, to stay in on Saturday morning and relax on the deck. The host sent a quick note letting us know the gardener would be coming on Saturday AM but shouldn't interfere with us too much. As it turned out the gardeners were outside with large weedwackers for at least four hours. The noise was awful and we couldn't sit on the deck. It was even hard to enjoy being inside with all the noise. We finally gave up and left, only to find pieces of weeds all over the side of the car. I sent the host a note and he said we could stay another day. We weren't able to do that so I suggested a discount. That was not an option. We couldn't understand why this work wasn't scheduled on their time instead of ours. We also thought there was some incongruity between the religious quotes and books in the house and the total disregard for our feelings and needs.

Sereno Del Mar Beach House
We thoroughly enjoyed our family retreat at this beautiful beach house just minutes from Bodega Bay. From almost every aspect of this property, there are fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean, and just steps to Portuguese Beach (one of the best in the region!) We were treated to a doe and her two fawn grazing in the backyard, wildflowers abound and the sounds of waves crashing throughout the night. This spacious house is well appointed with comfy mattresses and couches. We enjoyed the back deck with unobstructed views of the ocean. All kitchen essentials provided allow for home cooked meals. And the pool table was an added bonus! We will definitely booked future stays.

Amazing Beach House!
This home was exactly what we needed as a family to relax and reconnect. It was clean and the perfect size for my parents, brother, myself and my two kids. The best part was the amazing views and the proximity to the beach. I don’t think I could get tired of the view! It’s a great getaway spot and the host is quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely come back.
