"As soon as we entered the room and opened the bathroom door there was an awful smell of wet dirty rag and the floor was wet. A member of staff offered to apply some airfreshner which did not solve the problem at all, it just hid it for a while. I think it was the bathtub drain. Remote controls were sticky and they wiped them after requested. Another member of staff said the manager could talk to us on checkout and give us a discount which makes me believe they know there's something wrong with...

"Amazing house. Large rooms, but awkwardly set up. Bath only, no shower. No conditioner in shower, no easy place for hair dryer. Pretty dusty room. But there is a lot of potential here with some minor tweaks for a better guest experience. I’d recommend management to spend a few nights in the hotel to pick up on these small things. "

"The place was lovely and generally the stay was great, only small downsides were the bed was a wee bit too hard for me and I woke up a bit sore and the WiFi didn’t work in our room but other than that it was a beautiful setting, clean room and would recommend anyone who has a wedding in St Andrews to stay here super close to drive to."
