This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is centrally located between Beaufort and Bluffton on this gated private island. In a region surrounded by salt marshes and tidal creeks, you'll find stunning scenery and abundant amenities — from 27 holes of golf designed by Tom Fazio, to racquet sports facilities that offer professional lessons. Relax by the pool and indulge in a massage to complete your tranquil southern escape!

Dog Friendly | Central Air Conditioning | Private Deck overlooking Dogwood #9 and the salt water marsh. Stunning sunrise and sunset views from the deck, master bedroom and great room. If you need to catch up on a little work, there is high speed internet, desk and chair.

The home features 2376 Square feet, open design, with access to all of the community amenities. This golf cottage offers an ideal island escape for snowbirds and families alike.

Bedroom 1: King Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: King Bed or 2 Twin XL Beds (Upon Request)

COMMUNITY AMENITIES: 2 heated/cooled outdoor pools, 27 hole Tom Fazio golf course w/ unlimited golf (2 guests) & discounted green fees (additional guests), pro shop, tennis & pickleball courts (lessons for additional fee), fitness center with all the machines you like, or sign up for some classes or a massage (fee based). Two beautiful restaurants (Visa only)

OUTDOOR LIVING: Built-in outdoor seating, yard w/ golf course access & water views

INDOOR LIVING: 4 Smart TVs, 2 dining tables, 2 en-suite bathrooms, gas fireplace is disconnected & inoperable, home office w/ desk & chair. The large master suite includes a king bed, 55" TV, a large walk in closet, a double vanity bath with a large soaking tub and walk in shower.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, Keurig coffee maker, cooking basics, dishware / flatware, blender, toaster

GENERAL: Free WiFi, linens/towels, complimentary toiletries, full size washer/dryer, ceiling fans, hair dryers, iron/ironing board

Wonderful Callawassie Rental and Amazing Host
This is a great house! It is very clean, has everything you need and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds, bed linens and pillows were extremely comfortable. It also has a sunroom/office to get some work done which was an added bonus. The view is very peaceful with a deck, lagoon, golf course and marsh views. Dennis our host was very easy to communicate with and checked on us several times throughout our stay. I can’t say enough about him! He truly wanted us to enjoy our time on Callawassie. What an amazing island with friendly neighbors and a GREAT place to stay to get out and enjoy long walks with your pups! Louie & Lexi give it 5 stars!….or maybe I should say “paws”.

Excellent home on Callawassie
We loved our stay at this home on Callawassie. It's a great location and very clean. The set up of the house is perfect and was super comfortable and updated finishes. I would highly recommend this home.

Nice spot
Nice property for 3 adult golfers. Layout of rooms seems a bit odd, but worked very well for our needs (3 nice rooms, each with own bath, and nice den and TV for common area.

Great property, amenities and proximity to all area sights
enjoyed a weeks stay on Callawassie Island - it is a peaceful escape from the “busy” ness of area attractions. Great amenities, views, wildlife, - people on site were very helpful and friendly - property was exactly as advertised - owner very responsive - very satisfied with everything.

Awesome house and location!
This is a great house! We were in town for a long weekend for a wedding on Spring Island. The house was spacious, clean and well decorated. We especially loved the beds, pillows and bedding. The location is picturesque with beautiful trees. Dennis was very kind and responsive.

Callawaisee Stay
This was our second year staying here and we love it. Dennis is very kind and easy to work with. The house is in a great location and has everything you need. It’s also close to the clubhouse and has great views. It’s a great neighborhood to take the dog for walks and everyone is very friendly.

Great rental in Callawassie!
This house is very comfortable for a family visit! It has a great view of the golf course and a golf cart included. My husband and son got in a couple rounds of golf which were included with the property rental! Great stay for the Christmas Holiday!

Wonderful stay on Callawassie
This home was perfect for our family of 5 (all adults). Beds were super comfortable, kitchen is well stocked for cooking in or grilling, and the view is fabulous looking out over a 9th fairway and beyond to the marsh. We brought our dog and enjoyed early morning and late afternoon walks along the golf course path accessed from the back yard. The dog gate on the deck allowed safety for her while we were all outside. Large living/dining space and a separate office area off the kitchen allowed our adult children to comfortably do some work. The golf cart was an added bonus! Dennis is very attentive and checked in several times. You can't go wrong with this rental.

Very clean, comfortable and welcoming house. Dennis is a great host and very helpful. You cant go wrong staying here and staying on Callawassie Island. Our dachshund Willie gave it 5 paws !

Relaxing long weekend on the golf course
Staying at this property was wonderful time for all involved. My wife and I and two other couples have been vacationing together for many years. In the past year one couple has moved to Florida, so the Savannah area is almost exactly in between us. I was so happy to have found this property, which let us do day trips to Beaufort and Savannah. The property was so inviting that after toruing those cities, we never even bothered to hit the links! It's a nice, quiet location, with a great brezze coming off the course. Nice walking trails and a wonderful resteraunt onsite made things even better! We would absolutely rent this location again.

Unforgettable collage of beauty in S.C.'s Low Country
This lovely home is functional for people of all ages with golf, tennis, club house, etc. A big plus for senior citizens was the immaculate cleanliness of this retreat plus 3 bedrooms ... all on one level. Additionally, it's close proximity to other historic 'low country' cities lured us to explore as many areas as possible while visiting. It's an awesome experience of heaven on earth!

Wonderful stay with lots of fun!
It was our second time staying at Callawassie, and we really enjoyed the stay again! House was perfectly clean, and Dennis was a great host. He kept in touch with us during the entire process and asked for feedback throughout. We loved the use of the golf cart! The views are amazing and so relaxing. Look forward to returning over and over!

Great Stay at Callawassie!
This is a wonderful house in Callawassie. Clean, newly renovated, great location on the golf course with a view of the marsh. We also had the use of the golf cart which was great. The owner was very thoughtful, available to answer questions and genuinely concerned that we had a great stay. No question, we will be back!

I found this to be an place to stay when I visit Chechessee Golf Club which is only a very short drive from the property. In addition, we had the opportunity to play golf at Callawaissee. Beautiful area, exceptionally quite and clean community. We will return soon.

Great peaceful location
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and every detail was thought of. The owner was very helpful, communicative, and professional to deal with. Having the golf cart available was a great plus. The house is close to the club house area (restaurant, golf, tennis, pool and pickle-ball). The back deck is very peaceful, over looking a pond and the golf course and even woke up to deer in the back yard. We had dinner at the River club house on the island, which I highly recommend eating there (make a reservation to be safe). Having two guests as members with golf included makes this a great value. Highly recommend, we would love to be guests again!
