Nestled in the Blue Ridge forest, this log cabin-style home is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your loved ones! Spend your mornings with your cup of coffee on one of the spacious balconies overlooking the trees and listening to the nearby bubbling brook.

Inside, the well-equipped kitchen has all you need to create your favorite meals, and when you're ready to eat, you may choose to dine indoors or in the covered outdoor area. Once you've finished eating, tune into your favorite TV show or movie.

When you need extra space to hang out in, this home has a full basement complete with a TV and a half bathroom.

Outside, don your hiking shoes and head for one of the nearby trails, just one mile from the home. Or rent a boat and spend the day on Blue Ridge Lake. The cabin is conveniently located just three miles from downtown Blue Ridge, so when you need to stock up on groceries or want to dine out, you can easily. After a day of adventure, soak your muscles in the private hot tub under the stars. Then, retire to one of the cozy beds for a restful night's sleep in central air-conditioning.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Not accurately described

This is advertised as 2br/2ba and then shows lots of beds in the pictures. Here's what it actually is. It is a 2br/1ba upstairs. There are 2 actual beds in the bedrooms. The pictures show more beds and I'll explain in a minute. The other bathroom is outside around the cabin and down the stairs in the basement. It is not accessible from inside the house. Important to know when you're taking your kids with you. VACASA response is that we should have watched the video walkthrough instead of owning the reality that they have misrepresented this cabin. On the number of beds - they are there, but there's a good chance no one will be sleeping in them. In the upstairs part the added 'room' is a closed in porch with lights for which we could never find a switch and NO HEAT! That's right, the room has a daybed with a trundle underneath to presumably sleep children in but there are NO VENTS for AC or HEAT. Not there. The same situation downstairs. I did find one vent that seemed to have minimal airflow but it was on the opposite side of the basement from the living area. In the basement area no HEAT. Another cabin run by an investment firm who simply shrug their shoulders when you tell them it is misrepresented. We won't use VACASA again.

Clean, odd layout, could've been worse

Property was clean. Location is perfect for Blue Ridge. The property layout was very odd. You could NOT get to the the basement area from upstairs. You have to walk around the ourside of the house and enter the door code to get down there. The sink for the basement bathroom is in the livingroom beneath the TV. The hot tub was not just out the back door. You have to walk through the driveway or up several steps to reach the hot tub depending on what area of the house you are in... you definitely need some type of foot wear. The hot tub took a long while to warm up. I would stay here again but if i had options I would probably choose somewhere else if price was comparable.

Pontos negativos: Limpeza
The private drive was the worst ever, luckily we took the right car because any of our other vehicles would not have made it. 1. Super narrow especially where the fallen tree is 2. Huge holes 3. One part is almost straight down. There is only room for 1 medium car to turn around in on the property. The whole place had dirt and dust build up on the wall edges. Son splashed some water on the bathroom floor from a bath, the towel came up brown where it was so dirty. Cobwebs everywhere. Had to clean off all outside seating and tables(layered filth) Brown recluse was in the downstairs shower. Very upset about the downstairs not being connected inside to the top level so kids could not enjoy time there because there were safety concerns as the driveway had a total drop off. Heard a bear under our bedroom window the first night. Both bathrooms tiny. Both bedrooms small and off you bring the kiddos the twin trundle bed is connected to the bedroom so forget about intimacy. No tvs in any of the bedrooms either. The booklet and vacasa had contradictory check out instuctions (which was a lot that the cleaning fee should have covered for the housekeeper to do)
