"I was on a driving holiday and visiting Jindabyne for the first time hoping to get in a few beginner walks. The property was located in a wonderful location walking distance to the lake which has a couple options for walking. The property had excellent features with everything you need after exploring the surrounding townships. Was able to relax after long days. Definitely a property set up for both Summer and Winter holidays. You can drive to Thredbo and take the chairlift (at a cost) to take 4...

"Great hosts, communication and a wonder place to stay for the week. Great location for water activities, riding, running and close enough to town. Would highly recommend for a sit and stay time away or up and out every day time away. "

"The Hideout was the perfect location to cater for all of our summer holiday needs. A 5min walk to the dog-friendly Pooh Beach on Jindabyne lake - a great spot for swimming, SUP, kayaking or any other water sports. Hiking / mountain bike trails at your front door. A 5min walk to the Banjo Patterson Inn and Jindabyne Bowls / Sports Club for great meals and awesome lake views. We didnt have to drive anywhere all week. Highly recommended for summer holiday getaways."

The decor, the thoughtful layouts, everything was so easy to find, management were so great at communication. Great for dogs. It is so clean and comfortable! I’m allergic to a lot of scents, and also vegan, and they went above and beyond for us. All the products beautiful. The facilities are all high quality. "

"We enjoyed our stay in Jindabyne! The house is in a great location. Brian was so friendly and nice. The only thing is the house wasn’t very well stocked with essentials. Our friends sleeping on the pull out couch didn’t have sheets (just a comforter on the mattress pad). And only 1 roll of toilet paper which turned out to not be sufficient for 4 of us over 3 days. Only a couple of drops of dish soap left and no extra rubbish bags besides the one in the bin. Other than that, great spot."

"The property was exactly as advertised and contained everything we needed for our stay. The location was very convenient -only 15 mins out of Jindabyne and less than half an hour to Kosciuszko NP. The tiny house was surrounded by bushland and farmland, and there was plenty of wildlife spotting. Craig was welcoming and accommodating, and his thoughtfulness in establishing the accommodation is evident. I would definitely recommend Big Yard Escapes as a peaceful getaway from the city or the grind. "

"Misty Mountain was an amazing place to stay. There was plenty of room for 11 adults, we never ran out of hot water, the air conditioning was very effective and easy to use, and the views were beautiful. "

"Great location, place has hotel and motel style rooms. The former has underground parking. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only gripe we had was the lack of liquid hand wash soap in the dispenser and the inability to find someone to address it (it was a contactless process.) "
