LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION... Three steps from this beautiful home and you're on the sidewalk on historic Main Street in Blowing Rock. This newly updated luxury rental is the perfect spot for a family trip, romantic getaway or a special friends trip. The central pedestrian area in Blowing Rock stretches from the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum and St. Mary of the Hills on the south side of Main Street to the Speckled Trout and Camp Coffee Roasters on the north side, with the park as well as several shops and restaurants in between. Most people, including many locals, do not realize that there is a family home on Main Street within this central pedestrian area. They pass it riding down Main Street, and if they stop by the post office, they drive right alongside this quaint 1920's brick home as they exit. It's a quiet, happy little place right in the heart of Blowing Rock. A new private driveway allows you to park 2 cars on the property which makes your stay that much more convenient. The home has been completed updated with the finest furnishings and comes fully stocked with all your basic needs. You will feel right at home when you stay at "The Blake". We hope you love this home as much as we do!

Perfect Location in Blowing Rock
Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Blowing Rock. We were in the area for a music festival and were so happy to retreat to The Blake after a long day of music. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved being right on Main Street with easy access to amazing restaurants, the playground for our kids and ice cream every night. We are already planning a return trip!

The house was beautiful! The location is perfect, and the beds are very comfortable. Eric was kind and worked with us on check-in and check-out times. We also enjoyed the fireplace because it was chilly when we were there. We would stay here again 100%- 5 stars for sure!

Beautiful Property with great property manager
This was a great property! We had to rearrange our schedule and the property manager was so understanding and helpful with us finding a new date that would work with everyone. We will definitely stay again and LOVED the location and the house itself.

Excellent stay!
Property owner (Eric) was very responsive and helpful. Our car got stuck in the snow and he had his guys dig us out! The house is beautiful and very tastefully appointed. Very clean. Location was close to everything in town. We will stay here again. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!
After staying in homes up on the mountainside for years, we decided to stay closer to town for the convenience of walking everywhere. The Blake way surpassed our dreams and more than hit the mark. The home itself is gorgeously furnished and includes all the extras you unfortunately don’t always find at rentals such as fully stocked bathroom vanities. We got a kick out of sitting on the front porch and watching people walk by and do a double take shocked by a home right there in the most perfect spot. We parked and never moved except to drive to skiing and tubing. Long waits at local restaurants were no issue bc we walked across or down the street to put our names on the list and then hung out and waited it out at “home”. Our teenagers loved the freedom being so close to town allowed. We are already looking at the calendars for our next visit. Thank you Eric and family!

Like a Hallmark movie
My husband and I took our four teenage children right before Christmas. The home was all decorated for Christmas; it was something right out of a Hallmark movie. We all LOVED it. We have been coming to Blowing Rock for 25 years. We will have great memories of our stay and will be back next year.

Amazing property!
Location can not be topped. My mother needed a house that had easy access to shopping and restaurants. She absolutely fell in love with this house. The attention to detail was unmatched, and we’ve stayed in many properties. Visiting our daughter at App State was a quick and easy drive. Can’t imagine a better Blowing Rock property than this!

Blowing Rock Fishing Trip
The Blake was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable to stay in. Every detail for our visits seemed to be considered by our host. The location cannot be beat, just steps off of Main Street we were able to walk to nearly everything in town. It was also across the street from our fishing outfitter, The Speckled Trout Outfitters, which was super convenient. We would definitely love to stay at the Blake the next time we visit. Thanks Eric!

We had the best stay at The Blake! The location was perfect on Main Street making everything walkable. Everything was decorated for the holidays and it was was the coziest house. It was very clean and we had great communication throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back!
