"It was awesome. The owner was very friendly and welcoming to his home. It was perfect for our family. This was my Moms first trip away since my Dads recent passing and things couldn't have been more peaceful and calming. Just what we needed. The home was nice and clean, and very cozy. "This house is so nice! We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the river flow by. It was so peaceful and just what we needed. The house was very clean and well maintained. It was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. We did lots of fishing and town is minutes away with lots of great food to try.We will definitely be staying again. Thanks Diane and Richard for sharing your beautiful home."

"Gary & Patti's cabin was perfect for a group of 4 friends. We went on a fly fishing trip on the South Holston river, and it was close enough to get an early start on the day. The cabin itself is great. Plenty of room and Wifi/streaming worked well. We used the grill and the fire pit a lot. It was secluded with plenty of fun amenities. Would highly recommend if you want an outdoor stay with modern amenities! Property manager, Phil, was great :)"

"We had a wonderful stay at Terry's property, even though we were there through Hurricane Helene. Because of the solar power, we were never without electricity, water, etc, despite the terrible storm. We were incredibly grateful to be in such a well equipped house to ride out the weather! Terry was unbelievably helpful when we tried to venture out after the storm passed, only to find three trees down over the driveway and one lane road into the property. He was there with a chainsaw within...

"Great home in interesting neighborhood. Huge local park and friendly neighbors on lots of front porches. Stayed over 1 night on our way to DC. I haven't communicated with the owner on any of this, as nothing was critical enough to warrant calling them at the time. So I'm sure it's already been corrected. There were 8 of us and we had to get creative with the beds. An air mattress would have been helpful for large groups. The refrigerator did not work but the freezer did which was good for...

"I am an avid fisherman and the weekend forecast for Lake Holston October 11-13th was awesome - I booked this last minute and could not be happier ! The home is everything you see with an expansive view down the hill from the rear porch to a wooded area. Minutes from Painter Creek Marina. And I am now a Nespresso fan !"

"This carriage house was to darn cute! Exactly what the listing says. The charm of the place adds to its character! The host was very attentive to our needs. The house is very well stocked, which was a pleasant surprise. If you are bringing children, they have a high chair, pack and play, baby bathtub, plastic dinnerware for the kids. When my husband and I come back to visit our son we’ll be checking to see if this carriage house is available, and we might even bring our granddaughter next time!!"
