"Our trip was great. We stayed there in June. We traveled with my disabled brother-in-law who is a quadriplegic with our dog for a family reunion in the area. The ramp to the front porch was very handy and worked out great with him. The cottage was very clean and very nicely furnished. Very quiet community. "Manatee Cove is an outstanding place, so peaceful and serene! We had everything we could've possibly needed and more for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed fishing off the docks on the property and at the marina close-by. The beach was quiet and relaxing, then we would enjoy roasting marshmallows in the fire pit out back. Many of our meals were prepared in the well-stocked, large kitchen. And the best part...the beds were so comfy! I can't say enough positive things about this home and host!...

"We had a wonderful 5 night/6 day stay here at Compass Lake visiting family. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! It was the perfect location for our family of 6. The only thing I didn’t care for was the detached basement. I must’ve missed that it had its own entrance in the listing, as my children had planned to sleep in the bunk beds downstairs. "The house was really nice and cozy. The door was a bit of a pain but nothing to make me take away any stars. The neighborhood is so quiet and I loved sitting at the picnic table listening to the boats. We couldn't figure out how to get the satellite TV to work but that is alright we enioyed having family time. Will stay again."

"Wonderful host, you couldn’t ask for anything more! We could have hung out and chilled with her and her husband. Very clean and comfortable stay on the lake, we were working, but it sure made life great! Everything you would need, if it’s not there they will go out of there way to get. Go for the weekend, the week or as long as you care to, don’t pass this one up, it’s a place you will visit as much as possible I promise you!!"
