The 4x4 Farmhouse Cabin

This is an incredible cabin with farmhouse feel. Ever wanted to hear what an elk bugle sounds like? A nearby elk ranch may give you the opportunity to do so. Just a short drive to Bear Ears National Monument. Bring your side by side's and trailers because there is ample parking located on this property. It has everything you need for your next trip to Southeastern Utah. Wifi and great cell service at the property. There is not extra cost to use the great parking options for your trailers, and all of your toys. Come and enjoy!

Located just outside of Blanding but within 3 mins to grocery store and gas stations.

Large area to park vehicles and utv/atv trailers.

*AC units provided during summer heat months are multiple portable units.

Worst VRBO experience we have ever had!
Our past VRBO experiences have, for the most part, been great! They are usually very clean and feel like our second home. However, this VRBO rental is by far the worst that we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, the kitchen and downstairs were absolutely filthy. The dishes were put away dirty and greasy, the counters had grease all over them and the table had crumbs everywhere. The microwave appeared to not have been cleaned in a while and had a round Pizza cardboard disc left inside. There were mouse bait boxes on the floor and even mouse poop in the silverware drawer. The place has a foul odor felt very unhealthy. Most of the bedrooms didn't have anywhere to hang your clothes or even dressers. There were no suitcase racks. It was just the bed, one small nightstand and the floor. And several thermostats in the bedrooms did not work. We even found toenail clippings on the floor of the main bedroom.The house has not been maintained well. Places in the floor felt like we were going to fall through and the trim throughout the house was only half done. Some of the flooring was missing and hidden by a rug.And just an FYI, the description does not claim that the property is ADA approved. But the description and photos do not show that there is a step that leads to the restroom/utility room and another step to get to the bedroom.Overall, it was a horrible experience. Between the cleanliness and the entire place being run down, it is not fit to live in.

Great place. Lots of room. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen. Nice front porch to watch the view. A little short on seating if you are filling the place to capacity tho.

Perfect spot for us
We are three adult ladies on a continuing education trip. We chose Blanding because of its proximity to both Bluff and Moab. The house can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so try to arrive in the daylight. We didn’t not and were still able to get there ok. The house was spacious and stocked with everything we needed. We cooked several meals and had plenty of cookware, dishes and tableware. The beds were very comfy. There is an elk farm behind the house that is enjoyable to watch from the back porch. There was also a small herd of horses that came to visit very early every morning. Make sure and check out the welcome binder. It is loaded with a lot of helpful information about the area. The house is not fancy, but we didn’t need it to be. It fit our needs perfectly and we would definitely stay here again.

National parks trip
Great home for a family. We cooked in and would recommend having cooking spray and those type of miscellaneous supplies if other guests plan to do such too. We also did laundry and it worked great. Location was initially difficult to find - would recommend making sure you are clear on how to find while you have good cell service.

Let’s say upon arrival the condition of the red front door entrance was worn and tattered. Then upon entering the entrance linoleum was torn, and then upon more , we moved our things into the house, we quickly realized the tubs we’re filthy, soap scum was built up scrapped off, and he upstairs main bathroom was rusty realizing the hot water was dripping continually the rust build up proved it had been leaking for awhile, Then checking other bathrooms, I quickly looked into finding cleaning sprays and scrub us to clean these tubs, And continued cleaning the handrail to upstairs was so sticky the cloth turned black after wiping the white railing. The fridge had not been wiped. Then a few days later we wanted to do laundry, the dry was stuffed with seven fitted sheet and top sheets and fourteen pillow slips, damp. Then, so many flies on window ledges, and in floor areas. Two of our nine tripped twice on the ripped linoleum. The farm house it located in a lovely quiet spot, love the nature views and we had lots of room to eat together and move around without bumping into each other, We biked from the farmhouse into town for a fun sat event we discovered by surprise, then a great town ride out to the river and great local historic caves.

Very nice place!
My husband and I, along with three other couples stayed at this location for eight days. It was very easy to find, there was parking for our trailers and side by sides. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook all of our meals and the washer/dryer was a bonus. Very nice stay at a perfect location.

West Brothers Trip
This was a "Brothers" trip for us to South Eastern Utah. We had a wonderful time in that beautiful area...and this property was very well situated. We are all old "Geezers" at this stage, and all for us slept very well every night....which does not always happen. It was a great trip and comfortable lodging. The West Brothers

Reunion in Blanding
Semi rustc farmhouse with minimal furnishings. It worked for us. Property location process and description was less than optimal. Three properties at same location. Identification required a comparison to the booking picture. Worked ok as long as you arrive in daytime. Overall it was very effective for us. We would stay there again. Beware that the hot water is EXTREMELY HOT. There are step ups and downs that take some getting used to. Also the woodburning stove is a trip hazard near the counter. Large kitchen withen EVERYTHING we needed. We had 13 people eating at the same time, which was great! Laundry was a blessing for some in our part that had been on the road for a few days. Parking was perfect with room for several cars and trailers. Very convenient location, close to recreation sites and a grocery store. We listened to the nearby Elk bugling every night.

Spacious farmhouse
Loved the space and location of this home. Beautiful horses all around and elk farm close by where we went and saw precious elk calves. We had some issues w AC upon arrival, but management came and fixed right away. Added bonus was how very friendly and helpful everyone in the town of a Blanding was!!

The perfect home base
The bunkhouse was a perfect home base for our Bears Ears adventure. It was perfectly located for adventurous explorations, it was in a quiet neighborhood (with beautiful views) that allowed quality rest between adventures and there was plenty of hiking and biking available right from the home for walks with the dogs or an after dinner pedal. The obviously well loved and well used home was perfect for red sand adventures and dogs. There were only 3 of us so we each had our own room and own bathroom. What a treat. The dogs were sequestered to the fenced in back yard and downstairs. It was absolutely perfect!

Very workable place for 5 senior male hikers
Property is roomy, spaces are large and it works great for a large group. Had to search Goggle maps to find it. A brief description of how to find it by names of roads and distances would have been easy to do. Excellent washer & dryer. Convenient kitchen except garbage disposal was broken and light in the oven would not turn off

Disappointed
The property is not finished well, has too rustic of paint and finish trim, and has rust stains in one of the tubs. The furnishings are sparse with the bare minimum in the bedrooms, only a one drawer nightstand. No dresser drawers or even a place to unpack into, so had to live out of suitcase. Not even a hook to hang a coat. Worst VRBO we’ve rented after having rented dozens over the years.

Country Farm House
This is one of the nicest places we stayed so far on our 4 week trip of the CO-UT area. Very spacious and very unique. Room for another 10 people. Nicely remodeled and very rustic to make you feel like you are staying in an old farm house. Everything we needed to stay on site for several days was there. We were also given lots of good information on places to see in the area. Bears Ears NM, Natural Bridges and Gooseneck Bend State Park. Would love to return here again someday!

Difficult to reach the property; Somehow we figured out by matching the photo of the house
Match the photo of the house on the listing with all the houses. It was getting dark, and we were a little scared. We tried calling the number provided on the listing but no help. Finally, we reached. The stay was ok. Thanks.
