"The property was in a lovely quiet location, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Great communication with owners Matt & Abby and very welcoming when we arrived. Location was perfect for exploring Somerset, we visited several National Trust places and the north coast neat Dunster. Lovely weekend away, would definitely stay again and highly recommend."

"We enjoyed a great week at Alrose Villa, perfect location, just a few minutes walk to the beach and about 10 minutes into town. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. We particularly liked the wrap around balcony and the view of the sea."

"The owner should make it clear that this property is NOT suitable for a person with mobility needs. 42 steps to the upper floor is not “a few”stairs. I did tell the owner before we went that I had a mobility scooter and used crutches to walk and could manage a few steps. Directions should be clearer. It took an hour to find the property when we arrived. I suggest ‘The white door set back between the Dry Dock Café and the animal charity shop. This would make it easier to find. It would be...

"Spectacular apartment in a superb location. On the coastal road, cliff top. Beach below just across the road. 2 minute walk to a super pub/restaurant - The Spyglass & Kettle. Apartment was clean. There are a couple of things that need attention, water pressure is quite bad and although the bathroom is spectacular, it would take hours to fill the bath and the shower heads need replacing. I did bring this up with the provider so we shall see if they follow my advice! Communication could be better...

"Photos and description don't do it justice. What an absolute delight and beyond. Furnished like a show flat but it's the little detauls that really make this: the cotton buds/pads in the bathroom, cereals in the cupboard, milk and yoghurt in the fridge... But also the often overlooked items in reviews like the shower - great pressure and heat, towels were big, fluffy and robust, more than enough hangers in the wardrobe.... "This a lovely apartment, its clean well equipped and everything you need for a stay away. The only reason why we have not given it 5 stars is because of what it is located in. There are two blocks and it appear that most of the residents in these blocks are permanent and mostly the party type of person.
