"Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The host couldnt have done more to make us feel welcome with lots of extra special touches. She left oatcskes, local cheese and butter, homemade jam and shortcake, ive never stayed anywhere like it for thoughtfulness. Superb, will definitely return."

"Good amenities - the wifi worked, the shower had good temperature & pressure, the beds were comfortable. The town is lovely - right out the back of the building, you can walk to Linlithgow Palace by taking the trail around the little lake. There are restaurants & cafes close by. "

"The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!"

Im Vorfeld gab es schon Probleme mit der Überweisung und nur dadurch haben wir eine Kontakttelefonnummer des Zwischenvermieters Hoseasons erhalten. Die Möglichkeiten zu Kommunikation mit Hoseasons sind sehr eingeschränkt und definitiv ausbaufähig. Zum Haus: Laut Beschreibung liegt das Haus im Wald und ist umgeben von vielen Tieren. Das stimmt. Was allerdings nicht erwähnt wurde, ist die 500m entfernte Autobahn mit...

"Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute. Thanks to Maggie for hosting us. "

"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

"O hotel é antigo e bonito, a cama é grande e confortável, e quarto e banheiro são de bom tamanho. Roupa de cama e banho, assim como os travesseiros, são ótimos. Bons produtos no banheiro. Infelizmente não tivemos aquecimento na primeira noite, porque havia uma festa nas dependências do hotel, o que aparentemente esgota a possibilidade de aquecer os quartos (sistema). Nos disseram que iam buscar um aquecedor elétrico, mas também não havia. Nos deram dois cobertores!!! E mesmo com nossa...
