TEACH NA CAIRDE

Teach Na Cairde meaning House of Friends in Gaelic, is an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and quiet in a comfortable pet-friendly 4 bedroom home.

Enjoy time together in this delightful mountains home that has all that you need for a pleasant stay. A cosy weatherboard home of character and essentials with an undercover private deck and outdoor furniture setting that overlooks the terraced garden and bush landscape. There is always an abundant array of birdlife.

This property is located in a quiet residential area and is NOT suitable for parties or disruptive loud group gatherings.

FEES
Base Tariff includes 4 people and extra guests are charged an extra fee per person, per night.
Pet Fees are applicable and are applied separately and in addition to the online booking total.
Pets are $15 per pet, per night.

PETS
Pets are payable at $15 per pet/per night and are paid in addition to the reservation cost after you have booked.
Please advise if you are bringing pets and a payment request will be sent after you have booked.
Please ensure that you have paid for your pets if you would like to bring them. Pets are strictly prohibited on furniture, beds, linen, and blankets.
Please bring your pet's own bedding to rest on, food and drink bowls, and pet poo bags.
Ensure all pet business is cleaned up and disposed of upon departure.
Please ensure your pets are well-behaved and cause no damage to the house, furniture or garden, and do not disturb the neighbours.
Fines are applicable if these terms and conditions are breached.

9PM OUTDOOR NOISE RESTRICTION CURFEW
Due to the close proximity of neighbours near to the property, there is a strict noise restriction curfew from 9pm - 8am in all outside areas.
Please ensure you are super quiet when outside during this time.

IN-HOUSE GUESTS ONLY
Please note that this property is not available to hold lunches and dinners, or any other gatherings for people who are not booked to stay at the property.
The property is only for use by paid in-house guests that match the number of guests that are on the reservation.

NO PARTY OR NOISE DISRUPTION POLICY
Please note that this property has a very strict no-party and no-noise disruption policy. Under no circumstances is this a party house or venue.
The neighbours are in very close proximity as it is a very quiet and peaceful residential area.
Please note there will be an immediate eviction without a refund if there is a breach of our terms conditions.

PAYMENT POLICY
Bookings are only confirmed once a minimum deposit of 50% is paid 30 days or greater to the arrival booking date.
The balance payment plus the refundable security bond are due 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Full payment plus the refundable security bond are required when booked less than 30 days to the arrival booking date.
Please note that all payments processed by Accommodated are subject to a 2.9% payment gateway transaction fee.
Payments will appear as *SEC ACCOMMODATED BYRON BAY/LENNOX HEAD NSW* on your bank statement.
By making payment/s for your booking it is deemed you have read and agree to our terms and conditions.
Bond refunds are processed 7 days after check-out and may take 5-10 days to appear in your bank account.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations 60 days or greater to the arrival date, incur a $5.00 non-refundable channel manager fee.
Cancellations 30 - 59 days to the arrival date will forfeit 50% of the full tariff.
Cancellations within 30 days to the arrival date will forfeit 100% of the full tariff.
If the person who booked is prohibited by law to travel due to a COVID-19 lockdown, bookings can be transferred up to a year in advance, with one free date change.
Accommodated is not responsible for cancellations of any events, functions, booked activities, or any other changed circumstances guests may experience and as such any cancellations due to the above mentioned issues, will be governed by our cancellation policy.

Mountain hideaway
A little way out of town in a tranquil spot. The house has great communal areas both inside and out and includes tv streaming and wifi. An added bonus was the ease of access to MTB trails.

Lovely cottage with essentials in a great location for kids and pets
We had such a lovely stay. The property had all the essentials, including close access to exercise our dog, tranquil creek nearby and a quiet location to enjoy quintissential family gathering, even with marshmallows over an open fire.

Great location with adequate accommodation and fantastic back yard. Dishwasher was a bit of a problem and I would suggest that the owner put hooks on all the bedroom doors so there is somewhere to hang towels.

Relaxing & Peaceful Getaway
We had a wonderful time! The house is lovely and had all the conveniences we could ever need. We enjoyed looking out at the garden and bush and spotting birds from the very comfortable back deck. The house was super clean and well laid out. Another great thing about the property is its location - close to the bush/walking trails and away from traffic noise on the highway. Totally peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend Teach Na Cairde for a relaxing holiday.

Stayed 27 Dec 21- 7 Jan 22 Cleanliness and decor 10/10,’ Maintenance I would give 4/10 why? SAFETY- Nails on the back deck my husband almost sliced his foot would hv been trip to the hospital during PH, I am sure it has been there for a while, stove didnt work properly had to ask my hubby to turn on by lighter, dishwasher kept switching off wasnt draining, there was sewerage smell in air which was so unpleasant when we sat on back deck and it leaked like a seive. The front door had no screen and the door at the back screen was torn so couldnt leave door open mozzies and flies made it way inside. The window in the kitchen did not open which was rather disappointing. In saying all this we worked around it and had a great relaxing 2 weeks as this place was perfect for us, just 5 minutes to shops. This house has endless rooms and space we were spoilt for choice. Our fussy 13 year old Labrador was so relaxed and happy. We were lucky to get cooler days and got to put the heater on it was so beautiful. We did get couple of hot days and suffered with just a stand fan no AC. We really did have a great time, house is beautiful inside and outdoor is very relaxing with the bushland landscape. We sat outside in the evening with a glass of wine listened to wildlife getting ready for bed. This is exactly what we needed from out busy lives and everyday chaos. Thank you for letting us atay at yr beautiful home. The Barretts

Week away hiking
This is a very comfortable house surrounded by birds with everything you need for self contained holiday and very well located for the great bush walking around Blackheath and the Grose Valley. A perfect time of year with all the flowers blooming both around the village and in the bush. A great time away.
