"Location was outstanding. Although the address on the mailbox needs to be shown in both directions. More deeper cleaning and windows washed. Shower door is about to fall off. The time we spent there was great. Our host was very friendly and gave flowers to my wife. Feeding the fish was very fun. They swarmed to the food. Fun to watch. The host dog cocoa would come over to visit. Last is Cell signal was nonexistent."

"Cute little place tucked back and secluded into the woods. We had a bike race in Alpena and needed a place to get some rest before and after. This was the perfect spot. The back porch was perfect to relax on while it rained the day after. Will definitely be back when needing a break from phone service and real life."

"Starting from the outside in, the property looked a bit unmaintained. I don't think any of the grass has been mowed this year. Not necessarily a problem, but the inside felt a bit similar. There was a paper right inside the door explaining about some well water chlorine disinfection that took place 10 days prior. "We had a lovely week at Hubbard Lake in this house! Overall it was very clean and comfortable, and had great features that we really enjoyed. The only issues we encountered were that the digital check-in process didn't work and was pretty stressful to deal with after a long drive with little kids. Also, there were no curtains in the bedrooms, which was a bit of a problem for privacy and sleep, but I'm sure that the owners will be getting on that soon."
