Our gated community of Laurel Ridge has 17 miles wooded hiking / biking ! Great Golfing in Black Mountain prices are low ! You may just want a moment of Meditation or YOGA ! Great restaurants , Beer breweries, Coffee shops , Shopping etc. minutes away in Black Mountain, The famous Biltmore Mansion has an exquisite Winery and Gardens 20 mins away. Lovely Stay with Stunning Views
We loved our stay with Jan. The apartment was so clean and welcoming with a large private patio overlooking an incredible view. Great place for a rainy or sunny day of which we had both. Jan was an amazing hostess and treated us to dinner our last night which was most appreciated. Be aware the drive into the driveway is steep, but worth it!

Well furnished home with absolutely gorgeous views! Great area for mountain walks. With minimal traffic. Enjoyed the town of Black Mountain; quaint shops and good restaurants. Hosts are very accomadating and friendly.Highly recommend!

Relaxing retreat to reconnect
We loved everything about our stay at Mt.Admiral’s retreat! The home is very clean, kitchen is fully stocked, and the view is spectacular. Black Mountain is a quaint mountain town with great coffee and restaurants, shopping, and hiking nearby. This was the perfect retreat to reconnect while playing games, reading, and chatting by the porch fire pit or in the hot tub. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and helpful. We hope to return soon!

West North Carolina Mountain Stay
We had a great time at the Mt. Admirals Retreat. There were beautiful views and a lot of peace and quiet. It was great to meet the hosts, they provided all we could need and ask for. The only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer.

A Special Weekend
Mt. Admiral’s Retreat was the perfect place for our anniversary getaway. A very private and secluded mountain setting amongst the trees with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The accommodations were well equipped and super clean. The bedroom had a very comfortable king bed and there was plenty of space with a full kitchen, living room, a sitting room, all with an outside panoramic view. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the outside deck listening to the turkeys while gazing at the mountains. The host was most helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants. After a full day of exploring Asheville and Black Mountain we relaxed on the private deck with cocktails by the electric firepit and finished the day soaking in the hot tub. It was a great weekend, and we hope to return.

Would have been nice without the unfriendly greeting.
The property is nice, it's in a beautiful location, the place was clean with a nice view. And the property management company was very professional and easy to work with. Unfortunately on arrival I first noticed when in the deck I could hear the owners, who live above, talking and walking around. Inside you can hear every noise, waking, dog... because they're upstairs. There's nothing relaxing to me about sharing walls with strangers. But what ruined the trip was when I went to walk my dogs the owner came out to let me know my type of dogs, not hypoallergenic, weren't allowed, the property management company never asked or said anything about the types of dogs allowed. The owner was clearly irritated and made it known. I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable I made other accommodations, losing $400. I wish I'd booked elsewhere 😪

We loved our stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and had so many thoughtful touches to add to the experience, and the quality of everything is top-notch - you can tell they truly care about making this a wonderful vacation home and helping you have the best experience possible. Gorgeous Getaway
This apartment was exactly what we were seeking. It was immaculate and the view is gorgeous. The firetable and hot tub overlook the mountains and it is completely private. The hot tub was so so clean. We were barely aware our hosts were upstairs, and were very responsive.

Our stay at Mt Admiral's Retreat was fantastic; the space was just as advertised and the hosts have done some simple but delightful things like having lots of lights on dimmers and having all the bulbs the same warm color temperature - things that many may not notice but contribute to a romantic getaway for the weekend. My boyfriend & I extremely enjoyed our time at Mt. Admiral’s retreat. The view was unparalleled, the hot tub a great perk, the bed super comfortable, and the town is super cute.
