THE SPACE:
Lots space for out of town executives, UAB related business travelers or students, families for extended visits, wedding groups, Robert Trent Jones Golf groups, and events. Adorable home built in the early 1900s houses three apartments. There is not upstairs or downstairs tenants. This historic apartment has original hardwoods, abundance of natural light, massive large bedroom, front porch. Fully renovated, features high 10 ft.+ ceiling, large one bedroom and living room with queen size pull out sofa bed. The bedroom has queen size bed with private full bathroom attached with washer and dryer closet. Cleaning hardwood floors throughout in the living room. Large fully equipped kitchen with updated appliances. Ceiling fans are in living room. Updated ceramic tile baths. Bed and bath linens provided, flat screen Smart TV, premium speed wifi, etc. This is a very nice, clean, and fully equipped and furnished large one bedroom apt. A chance for at-home feel for the price of a five stars hotel.
Hotel like treatment:
- Brand new beautiful and comfortable bed sheets, pillows, duvets. All mattresses covered with high quality mattress pads.
- Three size towels, body wash, hair dryer, etc provided.
- Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, 4 cups drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, cookware, pepper and salt, sugar and cream, napkins, paper towels, trash bags, etc.
- Living room equipped with 43" Smart flat screen TV that allow connection to Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, Slings, CBS, Vimeo, social media sites and etc. for thousands of movies and entertaining programs.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
If you are looking to stay in the heart of Birmingham without paying premium price, and won't mind the 100 years old vintage house, this apt will be the one for you. Our 100 years old vintage house that has been totally renovated into 3 units apt. house. We cannot help with vintage plumbing that might be drain slow sometimes. Please keep in mind it is an older house which might come with some old house smells, small creaks and what not. Any area outside of our apt is managing by the building management and it is not part of vrbo for reviews. We cannot control how other tenants' behavior such as smoking or making noise, etc. even though this is very quiet house. Our apt is none smoking & no pet apt. however, the entire house building is not none smoking, Pet free building, we do have smoker neighbors and neighbors with dogs, common area might have smoking smell sometimes because our smoking neighbors. We do have air purifiers running inside our apt. and we really are trying all we can to make your stay comfortable.

The back deck is currently off limits under repairs. Bedroom carpet have couple of very small burned spots that was damaged by previous guests.

There is not bathtub, it is full bathroom with large shower.

Being in the city and surrounded with all the convenience, if you are not a city person or never lived in a city, you might experience a bit of noise from the street occasionally when everything quite down.

Parking is free on the street. We provide additional free off street parking at back of the house for one vehicle only.

We do not provide cable for TV, but we do have smart TV that allow connection to websites like Youtube, Netflix, Hulu and Vimeo and social media sites. Smart TV and High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to be part of vrbo agreement. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences with regard to internet service and smart TV.


We are not responsible for damage or loss to any personal items at our property. Unclaimed guests items will be donated to shelters or trashed within 24 hours. Guests take full responsibility for damages, injury, or loss that occur on the premises and its facilities.

Check in time is at 4PM and after. Please note that check out time is at 10 AM, late checkout without prior approval from 10:15 AM-noon will incur a $50 penalty, noon-2PM will incur a full one night stay rate penalty.

Please read and follow our house rules. Booking a reservation constitutes an agreement to comply with our House Rules. Guests who violate these rules are liable for any associated damages, fees, costs, or expenses plus $250 fine.
