The Space:
The Coast 2 is located in the small town of Birchfield, 16 minutes from the nearest Westport accommodation, perfectly set on 6 HA of land with any location for a tiny house. Cape Foulwind, Carters Beach, and 2 hours away from the Southern Alpine mountain park, Nelson Lakes National Park.
What's more, we're just an hour from Punakaiki, home to the Pancake Rocks and a great base for exploring Paparoa National Park. The coast is dotted with lush coastal forests, incredible limestone cliffs and canyons, mysterious caves, pristine rivers, and spectacular coastlines.
A comfortable 139-square-feet stay with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for your use.

Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, including direct access from the access road.

The Coast 2 sits in a small town in Birchfield, 16 minutes from the nearest Westport accommodation close to beaches, scenic sites, bushwalking, and mountain biking trails. It's one the best tiny homes in New Zealand, located just an hour from Punakaiki, home to the Pancake Rocks, and not far from Paparoa National Park: kayaking, horse trekking, rafting,
and nature tours are a just few of the things you can do.

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
