"We had a lovely stay in this rustic Cape Breton cottage! The building itself is quite old, and shows its character. It was good for three people, but would be tight for a family or larger group. There's no direct beach access, but it's a 2 minute drive away (or less), and the water was beautiful. "When visiting the impressive Louisbourg Fortress I wanted a quiet place away from noisy hotels and I found it. Excellent place to stay above 45 minutes away from the fortress but in the boonies. It’s a small cabin, rustic but with shower, hot water, kitchen, fridge, stove and a cozy bed. The screened in gazebo deck was super nice separating me from the voracious mosquitos. Super clean and a real nice quiet place to stay. Will try to book again when in Cape Breton. "

"We visited Fort Louisburg and take a relaxing break in our 2-week trip in Canada. This turned out to be a great location for both goals. It was a quick (fairly easy) drive to Louisburg. The property was lovely and a great place to relax and get organized for the rest of our trip."

"The property is beautiful and very peaceful! It is incredibly private and away from everything. We especially loved using the hot tub and the kayaks.
