"Once again we had a fantastic family time at the mountain cabin. It's not a cabin but a homey house in the woods. We try to go twice a year because our whole family loves it. You will too!"

"The cabin is actually a lot larger than I thought it was going to be. We had more than enough room. The back deck is great for the kids to play on with supervision. Understand that on a hot day, the front bedroom and living room get quite warm. The host/hostess were great and responded quickly to us when we mentioned that the oven needed to be cleaned so it didn’t smoke when in use."

"Great location near Arnold and Calavaras Big Trees. The cabin was set up well, the beds were very comfortable and showers worked great. Both the kitchen, bathrooms were clean upon arrival. However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the microwave under various items. I dropped an egg on the kitchen floor, the paper towel I used to clean...

"We absolutely love the Overlook cabin. It’s nestled into a very quiet court on the Stanislaus river. There are so many things to do in the area. We enjoyed the lake, hiking, fishing, river walks, and having a beautiful place to relax in. The overlook had all of the amenities we needed. Sitting on the deck in the early mornings watching the sun come up over the river, priceless."

"My husband and I stayed with our 4 sons. This was actually our second time at this cabin and we love it so much. It’s just enough room and we love the large deck where we can watch the boys play through the large living room window. The "

"All the comforts of home and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the morning and evening. We used the BBQ grill, and it was very clean. We highly recommend this place. They do ask that you take off your shoes as you come in so that the carpet doesn’t get dirtied. I recommend bringing a pair of slippers for inside. "

"Great cabin in a great quiet neighborhood with lots of activities in the surrounding area. We will be back for sure!"

"Property was clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfortable.TV not easy to use. Had a great time. Biggest problem was it took 3 hours to get in because of bad codes for door entrance. Then bad lock box code. Finally when someone showed up they opened lock with a another code which they didn't give us!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this tranquil, comfortable home. It has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked and the beds are comfy. We loved the view of the trees from the living room. The owners were great to communicate with. We were lucky to catch the fall colors in the area and enjoyed several visits to Big Trees State Park.
