2 Bedroom 2 Bath genuine Plummer Cabin with privacy, rustic charm, and seasonal mountain views. Cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, wide plank floors and stacked stone fireplace in great room. Plummer Cabins are a rare find and highly sought after, so come and experience the warmth and coziness of this perfect getaway located on a private street in a tranquil setting. Paradise for the nature and hiking enthusiast.
Cabin includes 2 queen beds and a futon. HOA community contains 27 hole golf course, indoor/outdoor pool, beach, fishing, and kayaking available for separate fees.

My sister and I stayed in a lovely cabin in the Big Canoe Community. We went hiking and exploring in Amicalola Falls and in Big Canoe. The accommodations were great!! Our Host provided all the comforts of home. We stayed for 4 days. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting some quiet and relaxation...

Wonderful private cabin with all the amenities needed for a Thanksgiving getaway. We loved the fireplace and the cozy back deck. The host was so helpful - wish I could give them 10 stars!

Relaxing, Tranquil Beauty
Joyce was amazing to work with! The fastest communication I've ever experienced with a host. The place is beautiful, nestled amongst the trees on the ridges of Big Canoe. The cabin was meticulously, clean and well appointed. We had everything that we needed and more. Welcomed with mini-candy bars and a wide assortment of chips. There was also a wide variety of K-cup coffees and teas, as well as, Dunkin Donut and McDonalds drip coffees. We especially enjoyed sitting on the comfortable, screened-in back porch listening to the owls and Carolina Wrens. We did experience some issues with the connectivity to the internet, especially with Apple products, so this may not be the best choice if you're "working from home". The floors and stairs are beautiful, solid, wood plank, but do transmit a good bit of sound from the upstairs bedroom to the downstairs bedroom, so I recommend putting light sleepers in the upstairs bedroom and anyone that gets up a lot in the night or early downstairs. Our group had two small sports cars and fit into the small driveway easily. Large SVUs may have more difficulty. Overall, we had an amazing stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully, we will get another opportunity in the future.

Ten Days at Big Canoe
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Big Canoe very much. The cabin was near my client's business and also near our family. We found the cabin to be clean, well-stocked with amenities, and perfect for our stay. The evenings were very quiet, so we enjoyed the screened-in back porch and the solitude.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
This cozy, welcoming cabin was perfect for the long weekend! My family and I wanted to get into the mountains and disconnect from the world. We were welcomed at the gate by an extremely friendly worker, and we gave her our information for the cabin, and we were on our way in. I felt comfortable being in the woods knowing everyone must be verified before entering the community. The mountain is enormous, with many different things to do, but it does mean that it will take you a while to get around. The home is beautiful and clean, and we were able to get in easily, and we felt right at home. There was candy and snacks available as well as a great selection of coffees and teas. The porch was relaxing and we enjoyed the night listening to the sounds of the woods. Our beds were very comfortable, but you will hear everything in the house --even whispers! We hiked to the Lower Falls and ate at the Clubhouse overlooking one of the lakes. We ended our night watching the sunset at the Marina. Overall, we had a great experience, and we left making plans to come back. It was a great time to relax and throw away the worries of the world while enjoying nature and each other.

Perfect cabin!!
My family stayed here for our son’s wedding and it could not have been more perfect! The wedding was held at The Willows Farm and the cabin was only 6 miles away. We enjoyed the cabin so much, it was exactly what we needed for our family of 4. The beds were comfortable, everything was so clean. We loved having a few snacks available and sitting on the back porch enjoying the fabulous mountain air! Julia is amazing and so accommodating! She was very helpful with everything we needed, quick to respond to all of my messages. I would give 10 stars if I could. We will definitely be back!!

Second time staying at this cabin. The owners really know what they're doing. Perfect outdoor deck, indoor fireplace and snacks (yes snacks including coffee). Whatever you forget, they have it! Great communication - so friendly.

Visiting Gibbs Gardens
We enjoyed the house very much. It was very comfortable for 2 couples. There is a futon in the loft outside the upstairs bedroom that would work great for another adult or a couple of kids. The back porch was the best part of the house - we loved it!! The only suggestion that we have is about the snacks that are provided for guests. And, yes, we did eat a few of them. Ha! However, there were some stale items in the basket of candy in the living room.

Visiting the area for possible relocation.
Fabulous stay at Big Canoe. Had fun visiting the Fainting Goat Winery. Ate at the pub onsite and had no problem ordering as non-members. Definitely the nicest property we have seen. The course views are out of this world. We loved the property. The house is laid out so nicely and worked very well for us. Lots of goodies, coffee and chocolate made it extra fun. Will be telling people about it!
