The Space:
Host Details
Whispering Pine Lodge is one of 11 executive class luxury vacation homes in Lake Arrowhead and 2 in La Quinta operated by LVH Rentals. With 2,300+ Five Star reviews, Premier Host and Superhost ratings, Traveller Review Awards 2023, and top 1% hosting provider ranking, our goal is that guest experience surpasses all expectations. Whispering Pine Lodge is owned by a private party and managed by LVH Rentals.

Entry Level
Consists of 2 bedrooms and laundry area. Bedrooms feature pillow tops, designer bedding and furnishing. Each has ample drawered and closet storage, ceiling fans, and hi-def tv’s. Bedroom 1 hosts a king bed/ bedroom 2, a queen.

Living Level (2nd Story)
Spacious and bright with tree view. It is host to a well-appointed gourmet kitchen featuring European style cabinetry, quartz counters and stainless appliances. Spectacularly furnished living, dining, bath, and deck are located on this level as well as fireplace.

Upper Level (3rd Story)
The upper level houses 2 over-sized bedrooms and bathroom. Richly appointed, each feature exquisite furnishings, pillow top mattresses, luxury bedding, ample closet space, ceiling fans, hi-def tv’s and stunning tree top views. Bedroom 3 hosts a king bed/ bedroom 4- (1) king and (2) twins.

Bathrooms
The property hosts 2 bathrooms. The living level, a spectacular tiled shower. The upper, shower/tub combo. Features include ceramic flooring, hardwood cabinetry and framed mirrors. Well stocked with plush towels, spa quality toiletries and (2) hair dryers.

Home Entertainment
Whispering Pine is home entertainment rich. Featuring Wi-Fi, cable, (5) Hi-Def TV's, (5) Amazon Fire TV Sticks, (1) iPad & (1) Amazon Echo. Subscription services include Amazon Music and Prime Video.

Outdoor Living Space
Placing an equal emphasis on outdoor living, Whispering Pine features a spacious, fully appointed deck with treetop view. The deck features ample seating, coffee table, over-sized stainless BBQ, and fire pit.

The property has everything expected from a luxury vacation home. The kitchen is complete with high quality cookware, utensils, and gadgets. As well as a large selection of K-cups for the Keurig coffee maker. There is a tasteful selection of mountain themed table settings. The bathrooms are well stocked with plush towels and spa quality toiletries. The laundry stocks quality supplies, iron, and board.

We often travel with ours and appreciate the convenience versus the challenges and high cost of professional pet care. Flat rate rent $100, (2) dog limit. As a comparable, some resorts charge $75 a night, per pet.

Lake Arrowhead Village
Lake Arrowhead Village shops and restaurants are a quick 2-minute drive. Sky Park at Santa’s Village, about 5.

Blue Jay Village
Downtown Blue Jay is a short 3-mile drive and home to Jensen’s Foods, Starbucks, and numerous retail shops & restaurants.

Public Lakes & Trails
There are 3 public lakes serving area residents and tourists. They are Lake Gregory, Green Valley Lake, and Big Bear Lake. All have varying levels of activities and amenities from walking lake parameters, swimming, water slides, watercraft rentals, fishing, food and snacks. There are several state parks and trail systems as well.

Lake Arrowhead
Lake Arrowhead is a private, members only lake, and is not accessible to guests.

Nice location and comfortable beds!
Really nice location for our ski trip (we went to snow valley). It is an 4 min drive to the village and there are some beautiful trails around to walk. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything except oil for cooking. The floors were a bit “sooty” and there were a few clusters of ants. The parking situation was also very tricky for 2 SUVs. Overall the checkin and out process was great! We would likely recommend except for the ant situation. Thanks for a great weekend overall!

Lovely Vacay
The house is very beautiful and you'll have all the comforts of a home. The kitchen items are complete even condiments. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The living room is great and it was nice to play our cards and board games at night. The only problem was that my sister had a foot problem and there were many stairs for her to go up and down as this is 3 level-stories high and there are a lot of steps too from the driveway to the house- so not good for her, but everything else is great! We all enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you for the nice stay!!!

A lot of nice touches. Very accommodating. Beds are extra comfy and bath soaps and shampoo are very nice. Parking/driveway is a little tough if it’s icy but cabin is very comfy.

Great Mountain Getaway
We stayed over the Thanksgiving Holiday and found the property to be very clean, well cared for, and complete with everything needed to prepare a full holiday meal. The property has just what you would expect for a very comfortable stay at a mountain cabin. Beds were very comfortable with lots of blankets and pillows. We were surpised by and appreciated the fully decorated Christmas tree in the living room, and all of the throw blankets for use while sitting by the fireplace. It's a great location minutes from the Lake Arrowhead Village for shopping, restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back patio with plenty of seating and views. Though the description of the property was very clear on the amount of stairs, we didn't pay as much attention to that information as we maybe should have. There is a substantial elevation change and stairs from the driveway to the entry door, then 3 floors once inside, We certainly got our steps in! The communication and information provided by the host made the stay much easier and was complete and accurate. We only had a couple of questions for him mostly dealing with the TV system, and he was responsive and accessable.

Lovely stay in the mountains!
We had a lovely stay at whispering Pines in Lake arrowhead! The house was comfortable and clean and perfect for our family (and Dog). Beds were super comfortable, neighborhood nice and quiet to enjoy the fresh Mountainaire and super close to everything (Village and Skypark). Check in and communication with property manager was easy. Only thing worth mentioning, which has already been shared in other reviews is the narrow steep driveway, which was challenging with an SUV and unloading kids, and the steep stairs. We managed fine, but I could imagine in snow would be challenging!

Relaxing weekend
We had an amazing mini vacation, unfortunately it was gloomy and supper foggy so we weren’t able to explore the area as much as I would have liked. We also weren’t able to go to the lake but we took our time there to relax with a nice cup of coffee and sometimes hot chocolate (early Christmas Vibe)

Wonderful Abode
The place is beautiful, clean, and centrally located. We enjoyed our stay here. The only minor thing that was a little challenging was parking and getting our big SUV out of the narrow driveway. We eventually figured it out so it’s not a big deal.

Few things to consider
The property was as pictured, however, what wasn’t pictured was the issue. The entrance is up 2 steep flights of stairs and then inside are steep stairs as well. Because the floor is laminate the stairs are extremely slippery. The owner has a small note on the wall but even with that, my 8 year old slipped down 2 steps and I slipped down 3 steps even with the railing. My parents (early 70’s) struggles on the upper landing because the railing didn’t go all the way to the upper landing. Just something to consider. The driveway as everyone else mentioned is an issue. It’s very narrow and our car (Ford Explorer) only had enough room to park and have only the drivers door barely open. You can’t unpack a car while in the driveway. The pitch is about 35 degrees so you need to have some ability to get your car up the steepness. However the main living area was just as pictured and the check in / out process was great. Would stay here again except for the stair and parking issue.

Fabulous home!
Great location, beautiful decor, very comfortable beds, great kitchen accessories, main floor was great for hanging with family and it was a nice size, everything was nice and clean, and host, Jon, was available for questions and very hospitable. Just what we needed
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, we were truly able to feel away from it all. This cozy little home welcomed us with soft rays of sun through the kitchen window and the sounds of nature doing it’s thing. The cabin was as clean and accommodating as anyone could hope and I would highly recommend Jon and his home for your next trip to Arrowhead!

Great Place
The cabin was great, very clean, lots of room. Close to stores and the lake. It was just what we needed. We will rent it again in the future. It had been remodeled and is so nice. The only complaint I would have is having to carry groceries or bags up the stairs from the driveway, that was not an easy thing to do.
