Big Bear Lake Charming Cabin

Our mountain home is perfect for small families. It has newer appliances and flooring, nice leather furniture and custom kitchen with all the appliances in a modern decor. Clean and great for small families or couples to get away and relax.

The house is located 1 mile to Big Bear Lake village and 2.5 miles to Snow Summit.

-2 Bedroom home sleeps four-five people comfortably
-Large deck with table and chairs
-LCD TV with ROKU and a ton of movies
- Wi-fi
-Great location for hiking and exploring.
-5 minute walk to the lake.
-Less than 3 miles from Snow Summit and Bear Mountain
-Washer and Dryer
-Board games and puzzles
-Lots and lots of quiet
-House sits on 1/2 acre lot with lots of trees and privacy but not too far away from anywhere.
-Has an awesome custom built swingset/fort with a slide -- great property for kids

Everything is included: All linens (Towels, Sheets, etc.) The kitchen is fully stocked to cook a gourmet meal. Pots, Pans, dishes, silverware, serving dishes, Keurig and drip coffee makers, blender, toaster, microwave, full size refrigerator.

This is a home away from home. It is complete. All you need is your food!

It has a custom kitchen with travertine marble counters, bathroom with custom shower, washer and dryer. Forced air heating unit that warms and keeps the house at a comfortable temperature, leather couches and chairs, all appliances are newer and a wonderful deck off the back to sit around with a cup of hot chocolate on a cold night and look at the stars. Off the back porch there is an incredible sledding hill that is perfect for kids.

One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a double/single combination bunk bed.

Perfect as always
Great for kids with family friendly movies and boardgames provided. The bunk beds and toddler sized table are fun. Watch out for splinters on the fun outdoor swingset.

Perfect Quiet getaway
As has been the case every time we've stayed here, the cabin is great and the host's communication is amazing. We enjoy the quiet area away from the main town and even when there wasn't much snow elsewhere there was enough for our kids to play in and enjoy.

Great Winter Getaway
Our second time staying at this cute cabin and super enjoyable again! We love the quiet and private area the cabin is tucked in. Very clean and perfect for a small family. We ate all our meals at the cabin in the nice kitchen that had everything we needed. My daughter loves the swingset and if you are lucky enough to get snow there is a great sledding hill!

Cozy Cabin
Ray was a very attentive host. He made it super easy to check in and made himself available for questions throughout our stay. The place was perfect for my family as it was my 6 year olds first snowy experience. Yard has a play area with play structure and a snowy hill perfect for novice sledding. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We got tons of snow so the backdrop was magical. Ray also went above and beyond by providing recommendations to local restaurants and businesses. It was a wonderful experience!

Nice and comfy
It was winter storm when we stayed at ray’s wonderful home. Inside house was clean. Pans and utensils are nice. The owner was very easy to talk to. We did not get a chance to use most of the amenities outside as the snow accumulated to 5ft. It was wild. Board games kept us busy. Overall stay was good. Will come back again for sure.

Fun Winter Family Getaway
This cabin was exactly what my small family needed for a weekend of winter fun! Tucked away in a super quiet neighborhood we felt like we had the area all to ourselves. My daughter loved the swingset and the sledding hill. We cooked all our meals in the cabin which saved a bunch of money. It's just a short drive to downtown and the lake. Ray was very helpful with information prior to our arrival. Make sure you bring chains if it has snowed recently as the cabin is up a little hill that may be icy!

Perfect all around. A home away from home.
To start the owner Ray was very good with communicating we us about all the ins and outs of everything. He was very nice and super helpful. The house was just perfect for our family. Very clean. And very comfortable. The location was also perfect. The house is right in the middle of everything around. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook. My kids loved playing in the yard and the sledding hill behind the house was so cool. We will definitely be returning. I would recommend this house to anyone! Thanks ray!

Stay over new years
The property owner was very nice, informative, and helpful during our stay. The house was cozy and the central air kept us very warm. We had a toddler with us and needed to get baby gate because there are a small set of stairs to get to the bed rooms. The property had a sledding hill out back which was great. However, if there is a heavy snow be sure and have chains for your car, otherwise you will need to shovel a 400 foot (or so) long driveway to get to the parking in front of the house. Overall, it was a great stay!

Great Cabin & host
Every visit is different and great! We've stayed at Ray's cabin in summer, late winter and now around the holidays. Every time the cabin has been great and Ray is always extremely welcoming and helpful. Ours kids are excited to go and run down to the bunk beds as soon as we arrive. The cabin has had snow even when the surrounding areas are bare and the sledding hill is great for young kids. We are looking forward to another trip again soon. Maybe we'll try spring next time.

Perfect Stay, perfect location
Ray is an amazing host. He called the day before to make sure that we had the lay of the land along with food and recreation recommendations. The cabin itself was warm and comfortable and had all of the amenities that one would need. The patio and gazebo were perfect for the stars and night and coffee with a view in the morning. The location was absolutely perfect. It was far enough outside of town to be totally secluded yet close enough to get to anything within minutes. We plan on staying again!

Ray was an amazing host!
This house is a bilevel, so there were very few stairs to navigate. The main floor was spacious. Plenty of room for 4 people and daytime guests. Leather couch loveseat and recliner. Beautiful tv. Every board game you can remember from your childhood. The kitchen was roomy. Amenities included central heat, central air, dishwasher, clothes washer / dryer. The bedrooms were small, but I liked that too. Just enough room for what I needed. Ray went out of his way to make sure I arrived safe and sound. He offered his services as a guide and told me where I could find what I might need. (grocery store / bike rental / trails / boating/ etc.)

Great location, perfect for a small family
Great cabin for a family of three and a larger sized dog. Perfect location, close to the lake, the village and Snow Summit, and hiking trails are within walking distance. The home has everything you need to cook dinner or bbq for a night in. The owner was so nice and helpful and communicative. The property manager nearby was super nice and had some good suggestions of nearby sites to take in. We would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation in Big Bear
We spent the most wonderful time in Big Bear. My husband, our 4 little furkids and myself. Everything was perfect. The house is just like the pictures. Ray, owner and host gave me call before starting our vacation and he gave me all of the information about the house, our stay, what to expect, great restaurant recommendations, hiking trails, etc. We felt at home. The patio was perfect for morning coffee with the furkids. We loved watching TV and catching up with a few shows and movies. Lots to choose from, dvds, roku TV, tons of fun games, puzzles, etc. We had a lot of fun at night. George, the property manager was friendly and incredibly helpful, we enjoyed chatting with him. I had a blast with the swing set outside. The house is close to the village and to the lake. Our dogs loved the walks and short drives to town. Cozy, comfortable, very clean and well located little house. I kept trying to imagine this place in the winter with snow around, a beauty for sure. We didn't want to leave! We truly loved it. 4th of July getaway
This was our first trip to Big Bear and it didn't disappoint. The property is just far enough away from town to give you privacy but close enough to enjoy the many restaurants and activities with ease. Ray is great to work with very responsive owner.
