"Wendy is an amazing host! She was in communication with us before our stay and gave some great recommendations on hikes. She went above and beyond in preparing the space for our family—with treats and toys and entertainment that everyone enjoyed. The house is in an awesome location with a great backyard if you want to stay in, or several awesome spots within walking distance (Burns Beach is a 15 min walk and the Lumberjack Tavern is a 5 min walk). "House was everything we were looking for in a vacation getaway. House was exactly as it appeared in pictures and in the description. House was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Location right on Lake Superior was awesome and the large windows overlooking the lake allowed you to enjoy the lake from inside the house. Area was very quiet and peaceful. Our host communicated very well and the entire stay was perfect."
