"We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. "

"This place is heaven on earth. Absolutely stunning grounds and the cottage is gorgeous! Immaculate! Paul and Julie welcomed us on arrival and were so informative. "We had a brilliant stay at Codley Farm Cottage. The house was really comfortable and very well equipped. The welcome pack was amazing and very much appreciated after the long drive. We made good use of the free entry into the Vindolanda site (which is simply mind blowing) and the Roman Army Museum. "The cottage is beautiful, immaculately clean, very comfortable, well equipped, and spacious with 3 bedrooms snd two bathrooms. I would describe it as a little gem with oodles of character. "I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. "The cottage is absolutely beautiful. My partner went down with a virus as soon as we got there, and if you have to be sick on holiday, this is the place to do it.
