Private Maisonette in Berlin's most central district

Housed in the most central district of Berlin (Mitte), Guesthouse Moabitā€™s apartments are in a quiet street within a lively central neighbourhood that is well connected to the local sights. The nearest subway station, TurmstraƟe, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot, the metro station Beusselstrasse is just 10 minutes by foot or a 3 minute bus trip away; and many buses to get around the city are accessible in under 3 minutes. A direct bus to the central train station allows a comfortable commute to BER airport by train.

This is a maisonette apartment with two floors. To the bathrooms you will go down a spiral staircase, the bed is a bunkbed with stairs as well. So we recommend this place to the young and fit. To those, who do not enjoy using stairs in their accommodation, we recommend checking out our other awesome 1-floor apartments!

Our apartments are bright, cosy, and seek to create a homelike atmosphere. They are all equipped with either a kitchen or a smaller kitchenette that includes hobs, a minifridge, and an electric kettle along with basic cooking implements. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. WiFi connectivity is available in all areas and street parking is possible in the surrounding blocks.

The beautiful river Spree is just around the corner and the nearby streets are dotted with numerous cafĆ©s, eateries, and bars. Berlinā€™s large Tiergarten park is a very short bus ride away and the well-known shopping avenue, Kuā€™damm, is 3 subway stops from TurmstraƟe.

We have some big problems with de aparthament: 1-The TV set didinĀ“t work durante all stay, 2-In the advertisement didnĀ“t see that bathroom is in the lower floor with spiral stair with a big risk of fall. We must to dow an up stair each time that we need go to the bathroom. 3-We have a problem with internet during 4 a 5 days . She didnĀ“t work. 4-The advertisement showed the front of the building, but the apartment is in the back.

We liked having a quiet, private apartment that had most everything that we needed including the kitchenette with basic supplies, and towels and bedding. Hand/body soap would have been nice, but fortunately we had enough with us. The apartment is a bit of a workout physically, with the bed up a ladder and on a loft, and the bathroom with shower down a very narrow spiral steps. We were appropriately warned though. One must be fit and flexible enough to navigate the place, but itā€™s a nice ā€œhome baseā€, cozy and quiet, up just one flight of stairs from ground level in a large apartment building thatā€™s set back from the street with its own courtyard. There is a bus just a couple blocks away that runs directly from the Hauptbahnhof, although when we traveled the other direction, we had to transfer onto the S-Bahn at TurmstraƟe. But itā€™s very convenient. The rest of the time while we were out sightseeing, we walked about 15 minutes to the TurmstraƟe U-Bahn station because the U-Bahn was a much faster way to travel around the city. Finally, we appreciated having plenty of outlets and 3 USB ports to charge everything each night. The USB ports are tucked away under the shelf where the TB is. Many thanks for a fun time in Berlin!

Cute and Cozy

The house is really cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and big. The kitchen tools are enough for two people. The stairs to the bathroom is a bit hard to use, need to be careful. Check-in and out was easy. We really liked the house and thought it was very homey :)

Ferienwohnung in Berlin Moabit

Das Objekt war wie beschrieben. Eine kleine Maisonnettenwohnung. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein kleines Bad mit Waschbecken, Toilette und Dusche. Im 1. OG ein Zimmer mit einem Hochbett, einem kleinen Tisch und einer Kochnische. Das Bad ist Ć¼ber eine steile und enge Wendeltreppe mit dem Zimmer verbunden. Man sollte also auf alle FƤlle fit sein wenn man hier Ć¼bernachten mƶchte. Das ganze Objekt ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und eine Renovierung wƤre sicher mal angebracht. Zum Beispiel war das GelƤnder der Wendeltreppe ziemlich wackelig. Aber alles in allem war es fĆ¼r den Preis und fĆ¼r drei NƤchte absolut ausreichend. Die BegrĆ¼ĆŸung war freundlich und es wurden alle relevanten Informationen mitgeteilt. FĆ¼r jemanden der eine kostengĆ¼nstige Abstiege im Zentrums Berlins sucht genau richtig.

Alt-Moabit kann gefƤhrlich sein

Ja also wir wurden von fĆ¼nf Arabern nach Hause verfolgt bis in den Innenhof haben uns dann halt am nƤchsten Tag mit ein paar abwehrmittel aus einem Army Store ausgerĆ¼stet dann ging das auch gut mit dem Schlafen... Das passiert aber normalerweise nicht da.aussieht

Bin tatsƤchlich gut hoch und runter vom Hochbett und ins Bad gekommen , habe gut geschlafen... 10/10, would stay here again

Apartment was clean, easy to find, and within a 15 minute walk to the U-bahn. Gregor the host was incredibly easy to communicate with. We had a request on the second day and he kept us updated until he was able to help us out. The spiral stairs are indeed easier to navigate if you are without mobility issues! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 5 nights.

Great stay with very accommodating hosts!

We loved our stay here! It was close to the tram/metro and in a cute area. The hosts informed us that there was a leak in the apartment and offered to upgrade us to another apartment of theirs. They were very flexible and prioritized our comfort. We would definitely stay there again!

Ruhig gelegen...

Wir waren vom 17.05 bis 19.05. in einer der UnterkĆ¼nfte. Das GUTE, es ist ruhig gelegen und man kann dort Ć¼bernachten und sich morgens Kaffee oder FrĆ¼hstĆ¼ck zubereiten. Die 2 RƤume sind nicht sehr gross.Das Zimmer wurde offenbar mal neu gestrichen, aber das Kreppband wurde nicht wieder entfernt.Farbreste an den Lichtschaltern,Steckdosen und der Lampe.Unsauber gearbeitet. Der defekte Fernseher wurde ausgetauscht. An der Wendeltreppe ist ein Holm lose, KĆ¼hlschranktĆ¼r ist rostig.Insgesamt machte das Gebotene leider einen lieblosen Eindruck. Das ist MEINE persƶnliche Meinung. Aber, zum Ć¼bernachten reichts.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to visit Berlin - a really sweet little compartment, spread over 3 floors. The only thing that has prevented me from giving it 5stars is that I feel that it needed a few more pots and pans, plates and cups. Otherwise superb and highly recommended.

Appartement bien situƩ, quartier calme et sƩcurisant. Gregor est disponible pour ceux qui le souhaite. A noter, un lit en mezzanine avec une Ʃchelle, donc pas pour ceux qui aurait le vertige. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermƩs.

amazing property!

we had an amazing stay here for our time in berlin. the property itself was so clean and very well laid out considering the small space. it had everything we needed. the host, Gregor, was extremely accomodating and helpful. we also felt very safe in the area and we were very easily able to travel to many different areas of berlin via public transport. we would definitely recommend this place to someone looking to stay in berlin! thanks for having us ā˜ŗļø

It was our good luck to find this place for our stay in Berlin. Itā€™s an impeccably-maintained studio in a building thatā€™s part of a compound with gate access from the street. It has a loft bed, kitchenette, and a bathroom (shower, sink with mirror, and toilet) exclusively for use by this unit but located in an empty room, one floor down, accessible from within the apartment by a narrow staircase. The living space is efficiently furnished to support the typical needs of a short stay. Other things we appreciated: beautiful wooden floor and kitchen counter; large window letting in plenty of light; good kitchen/bathroom water pressure and temperature range; two radiators that kept the space warm; cozy loft bed (some attention was required using the ladder and the staircase to the bathroom but nothing problematic for anyone without balance or mobility issues); quiet, peaceful building (and neighborhoodā€”but the area is also thriving with life, just more the life rhythms of locals and not so much tourism or globalized retail commerce); excellent restaurants and cafĆ©s in and around the area, and nearby groceries; close to public transportation (two bus stops a five-minute walk from the apartment and the tram 10 minutes awayā€”all taking you to Berlin Hauptbahnhof). Our many thanks to our gracious hosts. They were helpful in getting us settled in as well as providing us with useful information. Their thoughtfulness and hospitality contributed a lot to the great time we had in Berlin.

Im GroƟen und Ganzen waren wir absolut zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohl gefĆ¼hlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war gut und dieser auch sehr freundlich. Die Wohnung hat einige MƤngel (Badezimmerfenster schlieƟt nicht richtig; es funktioniert nur eine Herdplatte vernĆ¼nftig; Duschkopf muss per Hand gehalten werden, weil die Halterung nicht erneuert wurde). Mit diesen kleinen Dingen konnten wir aber gut leben, gerade fĆ¼r den gĆ¼nstigen Preis. Dennoch wƤre es sicherlich schƶn, zumindest das Badezimmerfenster zu reparieren.

Gute Lage mit Anbindung ƖV und viele LƤden. 85 Stufen bis zur Maisonette. Engste Wendel-Stiege zum Bad und Leiter zum Hochbett. Insgesamt sauber; hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Man kann selber kochen u das Umfeld ist ruhig. Gratis ParkplƤtze gibts (noch) hinter der BrĆ¼cke.
